Torquay, Carlton Court Hotel

James and Beryl are the perfect hosts, form the moment we arrived they saw to it that our every need and want was satisfied. He welcomed us with a tour of the property. The room was stylishly elegant and spacious,nice view , large windows overlooking the garden. Comfortable bed.Very clean and commodious bathroom. We felt that we had arrived at a special place.

We were served a scrumptious English breakfast (e.g., scrambled eggs cooked to perfection, freshly squeezed orange juice, a very good selection of teas, toast, smoked salmon and, naturally, coffee everything prepared to order). They had superb restaurant recommendations. Incredibly James offered transportation from and to railway station and even to a restaurant one evening.We will return!
