Lynmouth, Bath Hotel

Perfect place for that short break, asked for a room with a sea view and it was very clean, cosy and great view on to harbour. Dog friendly, cracking value Sunday lunch

The Bath Hotel has a nice location in the centre of Lynmouth, Devon, and some of the rooms have sea views, and the surrounding coast and countryside is very beautiful. As for the hotel itself, our room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. They could provide non-smoking rooms, and the decorations to all areas are dated, so this hotel could do with redecorating.

The food was reasonable, but not outstanding, and with little choice. Also, some courses were very expensive with large supplements.

My husband and I recently had some days away in Lynmouth at the Bath Hotel. As we found out, this is not the best place to stay in Lynmouth. The decor was tired and dated. While the location near the harbour was good, the hotel was disappointing and had obviously seen better days. It is a very very traditional hotel, and the other guests tended to be the elderly.

Food was mediocre, and to be honest, we found the hotel not up to what we expected, although breakfast was nice. Parking could be a problem as well.
