If You Are Looking For A Sleepy Cornish Fishing Vi

If you are looking for a sleepy cornish fishing village hideaway this place is spot on.

I came across the Lugger Hotel in Mr & Mrs Smith which is always a good sign. As a result I had high expectations of the lugger hotel and I wasn't disappointed. it's set in a number of building around the slip way so you couldn't be closer to the sea even if you tried.

It's a small boutique hotel which is great because you are met with a very personal welcome and staff refer to you by your name through out your stay.

The room was on a the small side but still perfectly formed with everything you needed to hand. To be honest the room service was so speedy that if you didn't have it it would be there within a matter of minutes.

Be warned the rooms are in a seperate building so if it's raining you'll have to go outside and bear the elements. They do provide umbrella's so as long as the rain isn't horizontal (which it can be in the winter month's you'll be ok).

The village of Penzance is tiny and with most cornish fishing villages there are few shops) so be warned. On the flip side the restaurant is excellent so you won't need to get any supplies in. The fish is also caught locally so its very fresh. I had the sea bass and it was A1.

I definately recommend the lugger hotel in cornwall. It's the perfect seaside hideaway.
