appalling cottage, appalling customer service, appalling owners at homeysuckle cottage
do not book any of their properties
( i have had to give 1 star or it would not accept a no star rating )
this is advertised as 3 stars. infact the owners claim it is nearer to 4 stars as verbally approved april 2009 by an english tourism inspector. this is a lie ! i have spoken with the english tourism council and it has not been rated at all !!!!! the cottage was filthy, lumps of scum in the fridge, rusty and broken radiators and furniture, peeling ceilings, missing bits of carpet, the kitchen was disgusting! i cried when we arrived here n this appalling cottage. when calling the owners with our complaints they swore and were verbally abusive.
do not book with this company at any of their properties!!!!
if anyone wants photographic eveidence of the disgusting state of this cottage please email me.
they refuse to acknowledge my complaint and still maintain they are close to a 4 star rating. what a shambles!!!!!
reported to trading standards and taking to a small claims court.
