The Hotel Hatherley Manor Was Booked Through Trave

The Hotel Hatherley Manor was booked through Travelzoo, £98 for a Saturday night for two people, this price included three course dinner, Prosecco and shortbread on arrival, and Full English Breakfast.

Booked it, thought no more, seemed so good, than a week before my stay I check reviews for the hotel, not sure what site, but thought oops might not be as good as it seems, some people said rooms were dated, food not good, staff asleep etc, WELL Reception lady fantastic, sorted us out booked us to our room, asked about evening meal time, papers etc, 10/10, then Evening meal, went to restaurant, inclusive price for meal quite limited, ie chilli, sausage and mash, etc......Not what we realy wanted could have gone to local pub for that, but if you were inclusive £26 went towards the other menu, so both of us ordered from that, all I can say Food was fantastic, service could not fault.

The room was good, did not upgrade this time as room was adequate for needs, didnt feel it was dated, very very clean though, even into the corners of the room, my partner spotted that, hoovered to perfection, bed clean fresh, bathroom fantastic.

This then leaves breakfast Well can I tell you, cereals, juices, meats, cheeses, fruits, yohurts and yes the full breakfast that was on offer I could manage the cooked, but all looked so good, and there was toast, coffee, tea, juice the works.

My review for this hotel, I would go back and would take friends there, yes you need a car to get to it but hey, its a Manor they are usually out of town, so nice, small grounds but pleasant. 9.5 out of 10 and bless this is only a three star, I have stayed at five stars, County Hall in London, but this felt good.

Turn Off The M65 Into A Small Parkland That Is Hom

Turn off the M65 into a small parkland that is home to a grand building complete with gym, swimming pool and saunas.

The Macdonald Dunkenhalgh Hotel near Blackburn is within easy reach, by car, of many places of interest, including the Pendle Hills, Haworth, Ribchester, and the Colne Designer Outlet Village.

The poor weather did not dampen our spirits when we stayed for a two night "super-break", because we were pleased with the standard of our newly refurbished bedroom and en suite, the access to all the facilities, and the substantial breakfasts. The smiles on the faces of all the helpful staff at this excellent hotel, made a stay at the Dunkenhalgh one we would like to recommend.

Gloucestershire Hatherly Manor Hotel - Nice Locati

Gloucestershire Hatherly Manor Hotel - Nice location with a lot of countryside around it, fairly large rooms which were clean and tidy. On arrival receptionist didn't seem to know what was going on and seemed half asleep. Nice evening meal and breakfast with large portions. Seemed to just about deserve its 3 stars, although comparing it to a Novotel for example puts it to shame...
