Cheltenham, Hotel du Vin

My girlfriend booked a room here as a surprise. And what a wonderful surprise it was.

This hotel was wonderful, from the moment that we entered, with the relaxed reception area, to the moment we checked out.

The room was superb, with quality fittings and furnishing, the roll top bath and enormous shower. The evening meal was perfect and was the best steak that I have eaten.

It isn't a cheap stay, but if you want very professional service without the stuffiness, then they have got it just right.
