Brighton, Jurys Inn Brighton

The still fairly new Jurys Inn Brighton is a great place to stay for short breaks, holidays or overnighters. Its conveniently situated with close proximity to the main station, away from the main hub bub but still close enough and within easy walking distance to theatres, restaurants, shops etc. Clean comfortable rooms, pleasant relaxed and informal atmoshere. Staff always proffessional and helpful i.e. re-locating rooms if not suitable and generally in respect of helping with general enquiries. On day of departure luggage can be left in locked room by reception until ready to leave Brighton so time to do extra sightseeing/shopping if required.

Informal dining facilities although have only ever taken breakfast in buffet restaurant . Plenty of food available and good choice too of either continental or full english .

The only thing i don't like too much is the hissing sound that the air vent in bathroom makes (but i am sensitive to any noise at night), so i just usually unscrew it slightly and this stops the noise. Really appreciate not having those noisy extractor fans which many hotels seem to install which stay on for ever and then come on in the night if used etc, etc.

A good , sound hotel for any age group and great for single travellers , couples and families alike. Jurys Inn is my first choice of Brighton hotels when i've just wanted quiet time away alone or for being with family and friends for week-end sight seeing/shopping or trips out to the many wonderful theatres/events that Brighton has to offer.
