Unless You Are Intending To Make Full Use Of Leisu
Unless you are intending to make full use of leisure facilities, you might find the Village Hotel in Bournemouth exceptionally over priced if you pay full rate like we did. Was a treat for my partners birthday and we were generally disappointed.
Would not recommend.

I Stay At Different Village Hotels For Business An
I stay at different village hotels for business and pleasure all across the UK on a regular basis. My experience on the whole has been good, definitely when you consider what you pay.
I wholly agree with the points Fiona Duncan makes in her review (I'm scared not to...hahaha!). The food was a bit of a letdown at quite a few Villages, not just Bournemouth. Breakfast was always pretty consistent, but the dinner menu was at times bland.
However, recently I've seen an improvement in the food they serve for dinner. Along with a whole name change (where they, perhaps rather pretentious, called themselves 'hotels with vibe'), they have also changed the whole set up of their Slasingers restaurants, not just Bournemouth has one of these, most of the ones I've been to have one. Much more variety on the menu and also some locally sourced food on it. Price wise it is still on the expensive side, but I think that at least the price reflects the quality a bit more. I recommend the smoked salmon salad for a starter and some of the steaks have been a true delight, especially in light of the ones I have had here before.
