Sol Piramide Salou is a very good hotel, definitely go back there again some time.

-Excellently situated, not far from shops, the beach, bars, portaventura and many more things.

-Lovely food, variety of most things every night. Something for everyone!

Salou, Sol Piramide - We Booked This Hotel Because

Salou, Sol Piramide - We booked this hotel because I am confined to a wheelchair and they said that they had several adapted rooms for the disabled. The room was very small and movement in my chair was very limited. I could not access the balcony because they had not ramped the doorway. Even though we had a separate shower it did not allow a lot of room for transfering. The ramps were very steep around the hotel, but it had one of the best disabled loos on the ground floor I have ever seen! It also has a chair to lift you into the pool, but I saw the lifeguard helping another lady to use the chair and it didn't seem to work very well.

I think this hotel is more catered for the Spanish and the entertainment was only on the weekend, it was very boring and lifeless during the week. The hotel is in a fairly good location for exploring Salou and just 10 mins from port aventura which if you enjoy theme parks is the best reason for going to Salou, we would not return to the hotel because we feel it does not offer enough for British guests.

The Sol Piramide Is Situated In An Excellent Posit

The Sol Piramide is situated in an excellent position within a short walking distance from the shops, bars, restaurants and beach.

The hotel is large, clean and the staff are helpful.

The food is buffet style with a wide variety, but found it to be luke warm, which can be heated up in a microwave (only one available) this is the only downfall. There is no tea or coffee served at dinner, you have to buy water or wine etc.

There was only entertainment at the weekends, except for a game of bingo on Monday night, maybe this was because it was the start of the season.

Our room was cleaned and the beds made every day.

The only english speaking programme on the t.v. was Sky News.

The pool was large but quite empty as the water was cold, again too early in the season.

The safety deposit in the room was free, which was a nice surprise.
