Tossa de Mar, Hotel Miami

Hotel was easy to find 3 min walk from the bus station, very welcoming we were expected and checkin was smooth and fast.

Room on second floor fairly small with a balcony looking out onto residentail flat and an old empty hotel. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels left my only complaint about the room was the noise throughout, the walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING people in the shower using the toilet and other things very graphic. Billy the night porter is very friendly and helpfull he did try to help us out as we didnt get and undisturbed night for the first four nights as the 2 girls above us came in in the early hours and proceeded to move furniture and pull up their shutters.

Breakfast was very basic; ham cheese rolls croisants butter and jam with a few cereal yoghurts and orange juice, now we enjoy this type of breakfast but after a few days it became evident that the rolls and croisants were a little on the stale side and the orange juice had run out one morning.

Overall the hotel was very plesant as were all the staff especially Billy and the lovely lady cleaning the rooms, she did a wonderful job. But it was just a little to basic for me and to much noise which was just normal day to day activity in the whole. So I would probably not go back to this hotel but definately go back to Tossa De Mar what a lovely place.

house speciality rotiseried chickens, with drink and chips 8 euros what a bargain

on the down side would not suit families as no poool sauna etc but as a base camp spot on,and joy of joy no families
