Location

The Husa Oriente Is Located On Las Ramblas, Toward

The Husa Oriente is located on Las Ramblas, towards the bottom and more lively end, facing the entrance to Placa Reial.

It's a fantastic location, especially if you get a front facing room overlooking Las Ramblas. It's noisy; you'll need earplugs if you want to sleep before 3.00 a.m., so if you've gone to Barcelona for a quiet break then this isn't the place to stay.

The hotel itself has an attractive art nouveau frontage and a photo of it actually appears on P106 of the Lonely Planet Barcelona guide, although we didn't know this when we booked it. There is an interesting dining room too, but it never seemed to be used when we were there.

People in Barcelona don't seem to eat before 10.30 p.m., so providing you can adjust to this and accept that turning in for a quiet night at 11.00 p.m. isn't an option then this is a fantastic place to stay.
