The Compostela Beach Golf 3 Is A Good Hotel.
The Compostela Beach Golf 3 is a good hotel.
Good staff.
I advise you not to go any where near the pool, unless you're careful!
We found the scrambled egg was awful, it tasted of sick to us!
The rest of the food was really nice!
10 out of 10 on class and style!

I Would Recommend The Compostela Beach Golf 3 In P
I would recommend the Compostela Beach Golf 3 in Playa de Las Americas to a friend. It is more of a family holiday than a couple one. Great facilities for all the family. When I went the weather was excellent, although sometimes too hot! I enjoyed it a lot, and definitely want to go back this year! The entertainment for adults and children was brilliant! friendly entertainment staff! Overall, I give it thumbs up!

I Stayed In A Private Apartment Within The Compost
I stayed in a private apartment within the Compostela 3 and I found it to be well furnished and every amenity was catered for, Sky tv, safe and others. Oh- and a hairdryer for the missis! The view from the balcony was great and we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening as the sun came down.
A nice 10 minute walk down to the front and there were plenty of nice bars and restaurants. Great location.

Stayed At The Compostela Beach Golf 3 19/08/2005 F
Stayed at the Compostela Beach Golf 3 19/08/2005 for 11 nights. After reading some of the very mixed reviews regarding this hotel I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Penthouse Suite had 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, a separate Kitchen and 2 balconies (1 very large).
The pools were brilliant as they were all one depth of approx. 4ft which meant the kids could play games such a volley ball and I didn't have to worry about them going in too deep. The areas around the pools are slippery but they have put carpet walkways down to try to stop any accidents (which we never saw) We went self catering but did eat in the hotel a couple of times - the Mirador restaurant attached to the hotel had the best choice and value in my opinion (but avoid the barbecue night as this was a rip off)
The supermarket is expensive and the nearest supermarket (Netto) is about 15 Mins walk away, or 5 Mins in a taxi as we chose to do) The beach is about 15 minutes away too but we chose to stay around the pool. The entertainment was varied and reasonable and my 2 boys really got into the bingo which is on every night at 10pm (not my cup of tea). Watch the bar staff though, they did have a tendency to forget if you had given them a 20 Euro note or a 10 Euro note! Also I noticed in the reception that there were PC's with Internet access - there are no firewalls on these PC's and I saw some children as young as 6 looking at a porn site (I obviously told their parents and the management)- so please be aware of this.
The hotel is situated between Las Americas and Los Christianos and both are about 5 euros in a taxi to get to. We did have problems with the booking through Hotelbeds and were nearly kicked out of our room after 10 nights, after producing our conformation showing we had actually paid for 11 nights and contacting Wadebay - this was all sorted out eventually. If I were to stay there again I would book directly with Coral Hotel group, as their prices are much cheaper than tour operators are. This is a family hotel and not really for couples/singles and we didn't see any undesirable people there at all (only a few cockroaches) - just nice easy going folk who had come on holiday for a break. I would definitely recommend it to families with children up to ages 14.

Overall I Had An Amazing Holiday But This Was Cert
Overall I had an amazing holiday but this was certainly nothing to do with Compostela Beach Golf 3. It was a nice place to stay but I could make an endless list of improvements they could make. The tiles on the bottom of both pools were 30% missing and I cut my toes at least twice. The staff are extremely lazy and will avoid helping you at all costs. Service at the pool bar, supermarket and bar is terrible! I have never met such ignorant people. You were lucky to find sunbeds after 9am and you had to pay for cushions to put on them, which were mainly unused! The security guards were cool by the end of our holiday but for the most of it they tried their best to keep us from even talking when we returned from the clubs (4-5am). a couple of my friends were fined over 100euros for jumping in the pool at night. The prices in the bar, supermarket, pool bar (snacks) are far more expensive than here, and the food was awful.
The apartments were "overall" clean and tidy. Maid service was good and the apartments were very spacious. in our penthouse we had 2 huge balconys and 1which was ideal to hang our towels from. the entertainment seemed extremely good for familys and often caught my eye, however we were more interested in going clubbing etc. the hotel was very family orientated but still alowed for us "the younger generation" (teenagers). the lay out of the apartments was good and security was excellent.

We Really Enjoyed This Holiday. The Rooms At Compo
We really enjoyed this holiday. The rooms at Compostela Beach Golf 3 were very big and clean. There was great entertainment on every night for both adults and children. Lots to do around the pool for children through the day. The pool was properly cleaned every morning. It was a little out of the way but taxis were very cheap and when it was cool enough you could walk to the beach and main town which we done a few times. The supermarket on site was a bit expensive but sold lovely hot fresh baguettes on a morning. The restaurant on site was quite expensive for what you got but the one in the main building was nice but we only ate there twice as we were self catering so was cheaper to eat out

Compostela Beach Golf 3: Overall This Holiday
Compostela Beach Golf 3:
Overall this holiday was very enjoyable if you like to hang out by the pool all day. The walk to the beach can be a bit much in the heat especially if you have young children. To take a taxi there was only about 4 euros and took only a couple of minutes. Make sure you take a day trip to the Aquapark and see the Dolphin show, which was something that my kids enjoyed very much. The Loro Parque was also good but was cheaper if booked at reception rather than though the tour operator. The only down side was it took 2 hours to get there because of the pick ups along the way. Only about and 1 hour on the way back..

The Compostela Beach Golf 3 Hotel Was Brilliaint,
The Compostela Beach Golf 3 hotel was brilliaint, the rooms were so clean and the bed sheets had been newly washed, the bathroom toilet has plastic to prove that it had been cleaned thouroughly, it was a place where you could live, the beds were comfy the kitchen wad homely, it made me and my parents and brothers feel right at home. There was a television which was a euro per hour.
The pools were excellent and very joyful to go in, the sign says no diving, no jumping and no lilos but no-one cared everyone jumped in and bought lilos (also available on site)and everyone had a laugh.
The entertainment at night was fantastic, such things went on like hypnotism, bird shows eg parrot riding a scooter, theatre productions eg grease, it was a very joyful night which started around 7 and ended at 1am but people left as they liked, they had two bars which serve fair prices and you also had waiters coming around the entertainment areas bringing around free bowls of crisps.
There were around five computers and had such things installed like msn, aol. They ran by a euro each half an hour which is quite long.
The people there were very friendly, thats why we are going there again this year.
Happy Booking. :)
