Caledonia Park Hotel Is Within Walking Distance Of

Caledonia Park Hotel is within walking distance of the waterpark, it was a bit of a trek to the beach, OK if you want to keep fit. The rooms were cleaned every 2 days which I found OK. The food wasn't up to much, but for a 3 Star was OKish. Some of the staff came across as very rude and ignorant, out of all the staff I would say there was only two that I thought were nice. In my opinion I wouldn't recommend this hotel, as I wont be going back to it.

I Enjoyed My Stay Here From Start To Finish. When

i enjoyed my stay here from start to finish. When we arrived we were checked in quickly, the next morning we had breakfast which had an excellent choice. The pool area was spottless, with plenty of sun beds, some were broken but there were plenty of others to choose from and there was a lifeguard on duty most of the day which was good.

The entertainment people were fab, and made us laugh from start to finish. The hotel staff were very polite, the rooms were cleaned daily, the evening meal also had a good choice. All in all I had a fab holiday and i'm thiking of returning in november. I wouldn't recommend it for oap's though or girlie holidays, it's more of a family hotel with lots of kids enjoying themselves.

We Have Stayed In A Few All Inclusive Hotels But T

We have stayed in a few all inclusive hotels but this one has to be the worst place we've stayed in ever.

On arrival at the Caledonia Park Hotel we were checked in and advised how to get to our apartment.

Our apartment was at the side of the road that leads to the reception, this we were to find a pain.

As soon as we got in our apartment we checked it out, as you do. Lounge area was ok with a kitchenette and a TV, if you want to watch it you have to pay, but who goes on holiday to watch TV I guess.

Bedroom was ok twin beds, only 4 hangers in the wardrobes for 3 of us though. Bathroom, well here's were the trouble starts, the shower rail was hanging off the wall and the skylight in the roof had a huge crack in it so when we arrived we were greeted with a puddle on the floor where the rain had come in (it was raining on arrival).

Up to the balcony next, the steel door was jammed and it took a good 20 minutes just to open it, closing it was a pain too because we had to slam it shut plus there was no handle so going up on the balcony at night was not an option if we didn't want to wake up the whole resort by slamming it shut.

Because of the location of our room we were woken at all hours of the night and stupid o'clock in the morning by either people coming back from the clubs at 2/3 in the morning or coaches picking up/dropping off or vans making deliveries to the hotel or the mini market just below at around 6am.

Pool area, this place is lethal; the floor round the pool is so slippery even just walking on it barefoot you have to be really careful, the amount of people we saw falling was ridiculous. Be prepared for the same music day in day out as well. Most of the sun lounges were broken and all needed a good clean.

The public area toilets were disgusting the ones near the bar the seats had fallen off and one wouldn't flush and the pool ones, one was broken and full of toilet paper the whole time we were there.

One of the lifts was broken for 3 days.

The food, there was very little choice and the puddings where a joke, same thing more or less every day. Some days you had to guess what it was as there was no sign to tell you. One day we even found a piece of polythene in the food and didn't get even an apology, in fact the receptionist on asking to see the manager just laughed at us. The manager would not see us anyway.

The cleaner only came 3 times in the week and just emptied the bins, made the bed and left clean towels, under the beds were disgusting, filthy.

The bar, you are only allowed 2 drinks per adult, this was a pain as there was 3 of us so it meant two of us had to go the bar every time.

Most of the staff was very rude and ignorant and the younger males kept trying it on with my partners 18 year old step daughter.

Now all of our party smoke but due to the fact that there were no ashtrays anywhere there were cigarette ends everywhere and I mean everywhere, we used the empty plastic cup we had our drink in.

Good points, yes the weather was good and we only had to endure this place for 7 days, would we go back? NO WAY.
