Puerto Del Carmen, Parque Tropical Apartments

Apartments were very clean and spacious - the cleaners did a great job and the towels were changed regularly, only gripe was the mattresses were quite thin/hard and quite uncomfortable. There was no toaster and within 10 minutes of reporting this to reception the handyman knocked on our door with a brand new one. The staff at the pool bar/restaurant were great and always smiling. They have Elvis impersonator twice a week - catch him at least once - its hilarious. All in all we had a great time, myself, husband, 9 year old daughter and mother-in-law! Parque Tropical were a 5 minute walk up a slight hill and away from the main strip and beach and so were near enough to everything but were in a nice quiet spot - they also seemed nearer than a lot of apartments nearby. When we return I would definately book these apartments again

The Parque Tropical Apartments are basic good clean accomadation same hassle with towels on sunbeds from very early morning,appartments should be a 3 star.

Overall the holiday was great. There is something for everyone, with all sorts of restaurants, crazy golf, miles of shops and coastline, lots of bars for the young ones, but the bar at the hotel was always shut from around 7 o clock.

The rooms were very spacious and clean, they were cleaned regularly but some are below pool level meaning you have to go down steps to get to your room which at night was a bit dark. Not much to entertainment wise other than table tennis or the weekly bbq. Hotel reception staff all spoke english and were very friendly
