Puerto Del Carmen, La Florida Apartments

Spacious clean apartments complex pool cleaned every day but banging and drilling everyday with private apartments being refurbished poor reception and pool bar service,

Another great holiday all reviews were bob on .We would certainly reccomend thesec appartments .Definitely value for money and well maintained.Close to all bars restaurants etc.

My partner and I stayed here for a week ( aug 31-sept6) and were pleased with the accommodation. We read some of the reviews before hand and some worried us but it is good value for money. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and towels changed reguarly. There wasn't any air-con but it didnt seem to be an issue as it was cool enough inside the apartment and so sleeping at night fine. The kitchen was handy enough with fridge, cutlery, two knobs and other essentials. We stayed on the fourth floor and the view from our balcony was great, overlooking the pool, mountains and sea.

The pool was a good size and great for cooling off: the hotel frowns on reserving sunbeds but everyone did so better to get up early to reserve a space as there is limited parasols. We only ate from the pool bar once but it was good.

The hotel was situated in a convient place in the old town, about a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre and 10 minute to the strip which is full of shops, bars and restaurants. One of our favourites was a place called Cafe de Ola, which is further along the strip, and your able to look out over the sea and it has a pool,sun loungers and a bed.

As you come out of La Florida The purple turtle is on the right and does a great fry up and san miguel (1.50 euro), further on up the right is a bus stop that we used for the Rancho Texas for free, however a taxi is about 4 euro and to the left is a supermarket with everything you need. There is a bar close to La Florida that has live entertainment every night. This is situated down the hill on the right which is also surrounded by other bars and restaurants.
