Costa Teguise, Galeon Playa Apartments

Galeon Player apartments are well located for Costa Teguise centre but also very close to the beaches. It is worth paying the small extra for a sea-view apartment but be aware that a couple of the three-storey blocks have no lift so it's quite a strenuous climb to the top floor with a suitcase. Apartments are spacious and generally good if a little in need of TLC but overall the complex is well maintained and clean. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Costa Teguise itself is a pleasant and attractive resort with plenty of shops and night-life. Unfortunately most bars have several overly-loud TVs with endless football or loud music so it is not easy to find somewhere for a quiet drink and chat in the evening.

We booked through Olympic Holidays and the flights were with Easyjet and had a more legroom than many charter flights. We found that booking coach transfers to and from the airport with Olympic is a tedious waste of time and money. Far easier and a lot more flexible to hire taxis at very little extra cost.

3rd Time we holidayed here, twice a 3 week stay. Hotel staff are helpful friendly and always happy to help. Accommodation spatious and clean. Sunbeds locked up till 10 am so no queuing it towel reservation at 7am in mornin which is huge plus.

Galeon Playa is a great hotel. Rooms are massive and very clean. The staff are lovely. Its ideally situated for every thing. We had an amazing 11 days there and would certainly book this hotel again without hesitation.

The only bad thing i can think of is the beds. Wow, they are so uncomfortable. Dont think we slept much at all over the 11 nights. Ended up sleeping in the living room, which was very comfortable.

Great hotel, great beaches, resort too English and a bit rough
