Very Friendly Bar Staff And Good Food On Offer, Go
Very friendly bar staff and good food on offer, good value for your money. A 5min walk down some stairs take you to the commercial centre and a taxi back if you can't be bothered walking.

Great holiday in Puerto Rico, Carlota Apartments, again thanks to the bar and resturant staff hope to see you all next year keep up the good work. the apts are basic but at the end of the day you only get what you pay for but always clean and tidy. Hope to see you in March again.

We Visited Carlota In Sept/oct 2007 And Had A Fant
We visited Carlota in Sept/Oct 2007 and had a fantastic stay the staff were great the accommodation was near the center, the balcony's were massive, the entrance has key only access, the pool bar staff are great after staying in Puerto Rico over 10 times have found these were the best value for money absolutely loved it here stayed for 2 and a half weeks

Poolside bar has just been opened by lovely people. Food Cheap and very good. Party night on a saturday - if demand
requires it and all the football fixtures. Put your request in.
On the whole nice people and very clean place - mattress on the beds not good. Needs quite a lot of updating and more self catering facilities
in the room.
The best thing about this place is the Pool Bar.

The Carlota Apartments in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria is an excellent resort with access to the main complexes (the one at the top (Europa), and the one at the bottom (Commercial), and both have excellent bars and restaurants). Lovely man-made beach!

Carlota Apartments would fall into the allocated on arrival catagory, unless you are young with boundless energy.
I went in September when it seemed to have quietened down a bit, dread to think what the main summer period is like! To be fair it fits in nicely with the resort which is brash, basic and perfect for gangs of kids (Or those with low expectations).
Long hike to beach and even worse uphill to get back.

Carlota Apartments was nice, and rooms were clean. When you go into the centre of Puerto Rico there is a shopping centre. Beware of some of the Nigerians try to sell drugs. They offer you an item first of all and then Cocaine, Cannabis, Speed and Ecstasy. They also call it Puff, powder, smoke, gear and other British terms.
