We Were Not Made To Feel Welcome At Hotel Barcelo
We were not made to feel welcome at Hotel Barcelo Pueblo, if you are under 50 do not stay at this hotel. The hotel was wrong by putting a bunch of girls who are away for a good time in with people who want a relaxing holiday, its not a good mix!! we were never rude or disrespectful to the other guests but they made us feel like we were not welcome. Other than that Benidorm is a top holiday if your looking for a funny cheesy holiday with your mates.................just get a better hotel!!!!!

A Rather Mixed Experience At This Hotel I'm Afraid
A rather mixed experience at this hotel I'm afraid. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the four top floor rooms in block seven, which had a large sun terrace rather than a balcony. The room was a good size, with a nice modern bathroom. The hotel facilities were quite good, with a nice, safe children's play area and lovely indoor pool, in addition to the two outside. Unfortunately, the children's club wasn't running at this time of the year. As previously reported, there was a shortage of space around the pools for sunbeds, made more acute by the pensioners (both British and Spanish) who leave their towels on the beds from before breakfast, but may not use them until early afternoon if at all. The entertainment did not look very good, but to be honest I didn't see much because it started so late (22:00), which was not practical with a young family.
Meal times are a horrendous experience I wish to never repeat. The hotel menu is poor at best, and even then much of the food bears no relation to its name, and everything tastes of precisely nothing! There is also no consideration for children in the menus. In fairness though, it does seem to cater mainly for the tastes of Spanish pensioners, who seem to be willing to fight to the death to get at it. The restaurant is a battle ground, where you must literally fight for a table (one morning, having found a table I was strapping my daughter into a high chair, but because I hadn't actually sat down a couple of aged Spaniards commandeered the table from under me! Needless to say, they left with a flee in the ear).
The staff are a mixed bunch, some exceptionally helpful, particularly at reception, and the cleaning staff keep the rooms spotless. Others however are surly and apparently resentful of your presence. Strangely, this seemed most apparent in a British woman working in the restaurant. Overall, we had a great holiday in Benidorm, which is a great place for children, and it isn't all just naff Brit pubs (although there are plenty of those). But the holiday was marred by the particularly poor food, which, although on full board, saw us having to eat out quite regularly.
I certainly would not return to this hotel, but I would definitely return to the resort.

I Would Definately Return To This Hotel! I Enjoye
I would definately return to this hotel! I enjoyed my stay there.
There is a market nearby which was a bonus, also many pubs, restaurants etc... and, not far from the beach.
I found the Hotel Barcelo Pueblo in Benidorm to be very poor.

Benidorm, Hotel Barcelo Pueblo Benidorm - I Stayed
Benidorm, Hotel Barcelo Pueblo Benidorm - I stayed in the Barcelo Pueblo Hotel in August 2002, and it was everything I expected: great rooms, good restaurant, and a brilliant cybercafe. The thing I enjoyed the most was the games room. It was cheap and it had a variety of games. Anyway, being just situated a short distance from the beach was good because we didn't have to walk far to go for a swim in its lovely warm sky blue waters.
When we booked it, we decided to go all-inclusive, but I didn't think it was very good because the all-inclusive stopped after 11pm and you couldn't get food from the bar/restaurant whilst the main restaurant was open. The first day we had our all-inclusive tickets taken off us because we refused to pay for a meal which was all-inclusive whilst the main restaurant was open. All-inclusive should mean all-inclusive, not all-inclusive stops after 11pm and not all drinks were free.
Overall, I think the Barcelo Pueblo Hotel is a good place to stay as long as you don't go all-inclusive.
We are staying in this hotel for new year is it all inclusive?
