Staying At Casablanca Hotel Was A Very Enjoyable H

Staying at Casablanca Hotel was a very enjoyable holiday specially for our granddaughter who had never been abroad before, shes only young and loved every minute. The staff were great with her. We have been to many places all over the world but both feel you'd have to go far to beat Majorca. The beach was great with warm safe water.

We Have Just Returned From Our 10 Day Stay At The

We have just returned from our 10 day stay at the Casablanca Hotel. We had 2 teenage daughters. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff, who were nothing but helpful throughout our stay. We arrived at our room which was clean, tidy and spacious. We found that both breakfast and evening meal there was a good choice of food and tasted very nice. The staff were very friendly and they were very efficient in collecting our plates. The pool and the area around it was very clean and we found that it was an ideal size. We found that it was in an ideal location and was in walking distance of nightlife and quiet areas. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would recommend to stay here to mainly families with older children and couples, and would certainly visit again in the future.

Cant Say I Was Disappointed, Rooms Cleaned Every D

Cant say I was disappointed, rooms cleaned every day to a high standard, food was basic but cooked very well. Good start to the day, breakfast cooked in front of you dinner was 7 to 9 the only draw back was that if you did not go early you missed out on some things, one of the best things is that you can get a sun bed any hour of the day. That's got to be a first so Casablanca you can be proud cause I'm not easily pleased

It Was A Good Experience Being In This Place. It W

It was a good experience being in this place. It was very near the beach, just 5 mins away. So we could enjoy after dinner strolls at the beach. The staff were good and the rooms were kept clean in spite of the loads of sand we brought with our shoes. Overall a memorable experience.

The Casablanca Hotel In Santa Ponsa Is A Brilliant

The Casablanca Hotel in Santa Ponsa is a brilliant hotel, with brilliant staff and a brilliant holiday all round.

We have just spent two weeks at the Casablanca. The hotel was spotless, staff were really helpful, and the pool area was brilliant (never have to fight for a sunbed or chairs and tables). There were great views from the back of the hotel over the town. From the hotel you can walk there in seconds, but at the hotel you get no noise!!

There was loads to do in Santa Ponsa as well, and Magaluf is only a bus ride away if you want it.

The food was great, and in the two weeks, there was only one night when I didn't fancy what was on offer and went elsewhere. The food and dining room were brilliant, BUT if you go as a couple you will be seated with another couple. Luckily for us they were a nice couple who we got on well with, but there was another couple who got seated with a German couple who couldn't speak English, which would be awkward!! I was told that they try and keep it so that the people you sit with speak the same language.

We are even going back there in September, and I have never before been to a hotel twice before!!! BEWARE when you book though, as only the rooms at the back of the hotel have balconies, as we found out when we arrived that we had been discounted £28 for not having a balcony. Other people spotted this and phoned before they left, so they got their balcony.

When we arrived we knew that the only entertainment was on a Monday and Friday, as we were leaving they were getting ready for entertainment that looked like it would be all week round. And also Scuba Diving at 3:00 on a Saturday.

The Casablanca Hotel Sits On A Hill With Several O

The Casablanca Hotel sits on a hill with several other hotels and may be difficult for wheelchairs etc. The excellent meals are self-service buffet style with med starters, soup of the day and a varied main meal.

Breakfast is continental with juice, English breakfast, ham, cheese, rolls, jams.

Drinks cost 2.80Euros for pint of lager, 5E for cocktails and soft drinks at 1.20E.

The hotel room was quite small for a family of four, we could have used more drawer space, OK for a couple though.

The guests were mainly international over-50's with a few families thrown in.

The main pool is a large rectangle with a kids' bit at the end. There is also a smaller pool overlooked by the self-catering apartments. There are no lifeguards on duty. Plenty of space round the pool and we didn't need to reserve sunloungers. Pool area never got busy.

There is also a pool bar with a baguette menu (2.80E) or a meal menu(4-6E) and a pooltable-table tennis.

The hotel has a marble interior with 3 small lounges, large dining room and a terrace overlooking the pool and is kept spotless. Your dining table was allocated for you and the room keys are swipecards. There are safes downstairs if you want one. (We never felt the need to)

The staff were excellent and very friendly, special mention to our TC rep who was a very friendly girl.

There is no entertainment/kids clubs for the kids but we still enjoyed our stay at the Casablanca.

Santa Ponsa Would Be Good For The Younger Folk, Wh

Santa Ponsa would be good for the younger folk, who like to go out and drink at night. If you go to the Casablanca you will not be disappointed. This is a fine 3 star hotel with a good location. You may want to ask for a room facing the pool but even if you face the back, life is not too bad. Watch the passing traffic on the quite road on which the entrance to the hotel lies. The room was comfortable with a good sized balcony, a fridge would have made a lot of difference. We brought our own music (ipod with speaker) and kettle!

Nothing in the way of entertainment for the kids ... did not get the impression that anything was going to be done about that, but they did have a lovely junior pool. Food also was not very accommodating for young children.

The positive feature was the friendliness of the staff!

They seem to work every shift!

Air conditioning saved the day. Owner turned it off at 01.00 until 05.00, however when we complained it was put on again. Would not want to be in Mallorca without it!
