Stayed Here For 4 Nights After A Cruise. Lovely Ho
Stayed here for 4 nights after a cruise. Lovely hotel, situated right on the beach and plenty bars and shops about. Food was ok nothing extraordinary. Only thing I would say, when your given your room check that it's not an adjoining one. It was like the guests next door were in the same room, and getting woken at 2.30 in the morning and listening to them singing for 2 hours is not good. Had a word with them the next day and it was fine.

I made a late booking through A1 travel to go to the Globales Santa Lucia during the Easter Holidays because I was desperate for some sunshine. I could not have asked for more. Lovely views over the beach, the staff were lovely, the hotel was immaculately clean and well looked after, and the rooms were lovely. TV channels were great too so if you wanted a quiet couple of hours there was UK Sky TV channels. The food was lovely. Fresh stir frys,fresh food all the way and the breakfasts were lovely too. I would imagine if you were there for a fortnight it could be repetitive however that is how it is and its up to you to be creative with your choices. I cannot fault this hotel and I imagine it would be brilliant so far as location during high season with access to the beach. Magaluf is a ten minute walk away for those who want to dip in to the party scene without having to be in it all the time. I would go back. I would also recommend for lone travellers as it was a nice safe environment.

I would just like to say that the Rochdale girls have bin brill today they have really tried to get my point across to THOMPSON who were very UNHELPFUL and RUDE i am now going to further my complaint with THOMPSON after they are still saying there have been no reported cases in the last week and that as we all know is untrue there are lots of complaints on trip adviser ,,,, also a quote from the customer service lady at THOMPSON ,,, SHE meaning myself,,, if she has a problem when she gets there she can see the rep,,,, well the complaint is all recorded for evidence and i will be seeing the rep and if i contract the virus there is cause for legal action THANKS THOMAS COOK i know i can be short at times and i apologize if i have been short with you i will keep you informed of my progress

Not Recommend The Hotel Unless You Are Retired And
Not recommend the hotel unless you are retired and over 70. Please check the weather before you go there. The hotel have nothing to offer. I do not recommend the hotel for young people. Furniture is very old. Hotel claims is four star but in my opinion it is not even 2 star. There is nothing to see between October and May. It's winter season and all retired people and even the good restaurants are closed. Not recommended.

This Hotel is the best hotel in Spain it is in a good accommodation the food is nice the people there are well friendly the rooms are clean and the price is excellent. They make you welcome. Best place in Palma Nova by far.

Went Easter 2008 As A Couple In Our Early Fifties
Went Easter 2008 as a couple in our early fifties with teenage lads of 17 and 16 years of age. We thought the holiday was fine but the kids didn't. There was little for them to do, as most attractions only open in May and both the resort and hotel were devoid of younger people. The weather was also poor, although the hardy were around the outdoor pool in swimwear whilst others walked by in overcoats!. If you are over 50 you'll enjoy it ,just don't take the kids.

I've stayed at the Santa Lucia hotel 13 times in 10 years, and I have never seen a cockroach!!! The hotel is very clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the meals hot and adequate and the position of the hotel is fab! I wouldn't hesitate to take young children there. My second child was 12 weeks old the first time she went. My nine year old always manages to make plenty of friends there, and I've never known it to not have "very many children". (I've been there in February, June, July, August, October and November). The entertainment guys are lovely, and they go out of their way to make sure the kids and adults have fun.
We stay at the Santa Lucia hotel in Pal ma Nova every year, and we cannot fault the hotel, and we have never never seen any cockroaches.
Decent hotel in good location, but avoid half board as the little kids have they sticky fingers in all the buffets, especially desserts, before you get there. Their parents seem so proud of them.
Also mind the cockroaches, even on the 8th floor!

I recommend the Santa Lucia Hotel in Majorca for older people and the middle aged, as there are hardly any children there!
