Lunamar Apartments Palma Nova

I went to the Lunamar Apartments in June 2004. I found them to be clean and tidy. As there was only me and my friend, there we were sleeping in one of the studios. It was an appropriate size for both of us and it consisted of 2 single beds, 1 camp bed, 2 cooker rings, a fridge, a sink, table and chairs and bathroom. It was a spotless studio and the maids were in every 2 days cleaning it, changing the beds and leaving fresh towels. There was a lounge in the apartments with pool tables, games machines, a bar, a restaurant and entertainment - all was good. The pool area was clean with plenty of sun loungers, there was a big pool and a baby pool - both were good sizes though the 'shallow' end of the big pool was quite deep. The destination was excellent. Palma Nova was literally out the back gate and that had a lovely beach, shops, quiet family bars and excellent resturants with good prices. Magaluf was the place to be at night if you were interested in partying. That was just down the hill (2 minute) walk from the apartments. That also had a nice beach, bars and resturant though if you don't want a heavy night I would advise you to go to Palma Nova. Magaluf was brilliant for lively pubs and clubs though some are too lively if you have kids with you. The only bad thing I would say about the Lunamar Apartments was the amount of cats, though this would not be a problem if you are not on the ground floor but we were so could not get any use out of our balcony as they were jumping up on it. Our balcony was also shaded by a tree. There is a rubbish dump out the back of Lunamar which has a horrible smell from it though this did not affect us because we were at the front so if you are booking to go to the Lunamar ask for a pool view room that's not on the ground floor (especially ask for this if you are young because the ground floor is where they put all the young ones). The only bad thing I could say about the place is the club reps in Magaluf trying to drag you into pubs, they are everywhere in Magaluf and they are very persistant (so persistant that one hurt my wrist trying to pull me into a club). When I was there I went to the western water park, a boat trip, Sonamar (excellent) and pirates. All were enjoyable days/nights but if you are booking don't do it through the reps as it is dearer - go into one of the booking shops and do it. All in all, I had an excellent time at the Lunamar Apartments and what I have wrote is the exact truth about them (no bits added or taken away!).
