Reps And Hotel Staff Very Nice And Very Hard Wor
Reps and Hotel staff very nice and very hard working and good childrens facilities especially for the over 3s at Hotel Marina Torrenova.
Steep steps near kiddies pool!
The food has apparently gone down hill in the last year ,chilli with no chilli in it?
The price of drinks was extortionate even given the exchange rate.
The bathrooms could be better cleaned as we had a previous occupiers medication left on bathroom floor for toddler to find
Oh and rampant gastric flu within the hotel which the reps did their best to manage.

Overall, We Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay At The Mar
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marina Torrenova. We expected the hill to be worse than it was, after reading other reviews! It was a bit steep at the bottom part but not that bad at all. The hotel itself was in a quiet location, which was welcomed after hearing the noise coming from various apartments further down the hill. There were a lot of children at the hotel, considering the schools had not officially finished for the summer but as it is a Thomson super-family hotel, so we expected a fair few.
We were also impressed with the maid service. It was great to come back to the room each day to find fresh bedding and towels and a clean bathroom! The Reception area also looked sparkling all the time and it gave a nice friendly feeling when coming into the hotel.
Great value for money hotel and would recommend it, especially if you have children.

The Marina Torrenova Is Run By A Group Called The
The Marina Torrenova is run by a group called the Marina Hotels. It is a large Spanish company which has hotels worldwide. All the reception staff speak good English and are very helpful in any aspect or query. The rooms are for a family of two, plenty of room. Family of 3 is ideal, a family of 4 is a bit of a squeeze but still OK. The rooms are well ventilated, the WC and bathrooms are clean. The hotel was completely refurbished a couple of years ago and the foyer looks mighty impressive. The food is great and there is plenty of it. The reps are very helpful and always trying to sell you a trip or two. We have been on holiday with many holiday companies eg Aspro, Thomas Cook, Airtours and MyTravel to name but a few. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad Thomson Holiday but you do pay a little more. Saying that, we have two boys aged 10 and 13, so Super Family suits us. Lots to do around the island, we recommend the water parks, crazy golf, car hire, see the island it's well worth it. Have a great time, we did.

Although We Don't Have Children, We Can Definitely
Although we don't have children, we can definitely say children would love it at Hotel Marina Torrenova in Palma Nova, Majorca. There is a creche for babies and toddlers, and a kids club for the 3 - 5's, and then another club for the older ones.
There is a very big bar/entertainment area in the hotel, which is nice. And it may also be useful for you to know that you will find vending machines in the hotel, which hold confectionery, drinks, sun tan lotions, sanitary products, shampoo, plasters, batteries, keyrings and some other bits and bobs, such as playing cards. Pretty good idea I thought!!
There are two swimming pools. One especially for the younger children, as it's not too deep. The entertainment by the pool can be hilarious. especially when you get the poolside quiz, music and competitions with the reps vs the kids or vs the parents etc. Sometimes Thomson the dog even flies over from his last destination and says "Hi" to the kids!
The hotel is located between Magaluf and Palma Nova (ideal). However, as I have asthma, I did find it a bit struggle coming up the steep hill to the hotel (it seemed never ending). Although, if you have no type of disability or respiratory problem you would find that this hotel is in the ideal spot!
Cathedral, Bellver Castle and Inca Market are worth visiting.
