Don Manolo Hotel

I have just came back from staying at this hotel, and I really don't know what people had to moan about. Fair enough, the food was repetitive, and the staff weren't that nice, but that has to be expected. The Don Manolo Hotel in Magaluf appeared to be very clean, and the drinks made up for the poor food and customer service. I've been to Magaluf before, and I have stayed in better hotels, but I must say that this is the best holiday I've had. The nightlife is great as well, and really, that's what people go for, and most people don't care where they are staying; well if you're young anyway.

I really wouldn't be put off by the poor reviews, because it isn't the hotel that makes the holiday; you and the people you meet do.

To sum up; it's a very basic hotel, but aren't a lot of others exactly the same?

The Don Manola Hotel in Magaluf is very run down and in bad need of refurbishment.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The food was appalling, and the choice was very poor. We lived on chips, and they were awful.

The room was basic, and my mattress had no support and I suffered with chronic backache. The terrace was never lit up at night, and there were very few lights on around the pool area.

Staff were unfriendly, and as far as a three star rating goes, I would give this a zero.

Magaluf was great, and I would return, but I would stay in a different hotel.

The food in the Don Manolo Hotel in Magaluf was horrible. Me and my mates paid for all inclusive, but we only ate in the hotel twice!! Also, I thought the hotel staff were unfriendly! The balcony doors were broken, and you could get in from outside!! Everyone has said about the pool being clean. I thought the swimming pool was very dirty inside and round the sides of the pool. There was NO air conditioning in the hotel at all, which I thought was bad.

Overall, it was a basic 3* hotel, but in my opinion it only pushes the 3* mark!!

Myself and 3 friends have just come back from our first holiday on our own (all age 17). We stayed at the Don Manolo Hotel in Magaluf, and it was probably the best holiday I've had. The hotel was a disgrace, but we went for a clubbing holiday so we didn't let it bother us too much, except we did have to eat out quite a few times because we couldn't possibly live on chips any longer. The free drink was good, even though it's watered down. It still got us drunk though!! The hotel was about a ten minute walk from the strip, which didn't bother us at all because we used to walk up with the boys from our hotel, and we loved meeting different people on the way.

BCM is a wicked club! I have never been anywhere like it, and we went the weekend that Radio 1 were there, and Tim Westwood and Fatman Scoop were there. There was also a water party downstairs, and that was out of this world! On the strip there are some wicked clubs: Bananas, Bonkers, Tokyo Joes, Car Wash, Boomerang, Fusion and loads more. There are also some great bars, such as Alex's, The Red Lion and more! We met loads of sexy PR's as well, which was fun!

Overall, the holiday was brilliant, and I would definitely go again. We are all actually going to work out there next year when we are 18. It was just a shame about the hotel, and it is definitely not for families.

Enjoy Magaluf anyway. It's mental!!

To sum up the Don Manolo, it is ok and very basic. The hotel is full of young people on holiday so noise is of a high during the early hours. NOT SUTIABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN in my opinion.

Overall, the Son Manolo Hotel in Magaluf was a basic 3* hotel, but in my opinion it only pushes the 3* mark!! It is definitely not for families, as you don't get much sleep with people talking from one side of the hotel to the other! Also, beware of the water throwers when sitting by the pool.

Overall, I would recommend the Don Manolo hotel in Magaluf as it is fun, and the pool is quite refreshing. It is minutes away from a really good night out, but I would advise looking at the beds just to be on the safe side!

Well............where do I start me and 14 friends went to the Don Manolo last year in the party season. We expected to be a little closer to the action as it is about a 10 minuite walk from the main strip but hey it did us good to sober up a bit after a heavy night on the razz. Anyway the hotel was clean enough and the cleaners would change your towels and beds every day. There were a few cockroaches though that really freaked me out. Hotel Don Manolo is a club 18-30 hotel so we as a group of young partygoers expected it to be a bit more rowdy than it was as there were only 3 more groups of youngsters in our hotel. All boys may I add, Whoopy doo, little tip for the girls(it's 5 boys to every 1 girl out there) So take your pick ladies. We had a laugh and thats all that counts, would go back there but not at the price it is for what it is it has gone up about 200 quid since we went RIP OFF!!!!

Amazing nightlife especially SUPERCLUB BCM another tip go there b4 12 to collect your free stuff get your stamp and hey presto souvenirs for every one. Tokyo Joe's and Bananas are also very good Carwash Club is amazing. But beware of the foam in there if you are wearing white because it's blue!

If you want a good night go to BCM Playboy Party Ministry of Sound party. Tim Westwood night AND BCM world famous foam party. I have never seen so much foam in all my life. I thought I was going to drown. You stand there expecting it to snow foam but you get far more than that! woah..........All I'm saying is be prepared just remember it is the biggest foam party in the world guys not your local club with a bucket of Fairy liquid. BCM popcorn party is the same I was finding popcorn places you would never expect it to get for days after

P.S dont miss out on the Coyote Ugly bar!!! girls if you have ever seen the film you will be amazed. Make sure you take a camera and get up and dance on the bar its great. Oh and don't ask for a glass of water or you get squirted with the hose!!! LOL

I would rate the Don Manolo Hotel highly even though it is only 3 star.

We had a great time at this hotel, we were warned that some people were burgled whilst staying. This happens on the lower floors, where people can jump onto the dining room roof and enter through the balcony door!! Two pieces of advice, request a higher room, and hire the safety deposit box!! we heard of no robberies whilst we were there! One of the excursions 'the don manolo', sells as the booze cruise, this is a must! It was the best day of our holiday!!
