The Esmeralda Is The Worst Hotel/apartments I Have

The Esmeralda is the worst hotel/apartments I have ever been to. Doesn't even deserve half a star in my opinion due to the cockroaches.

Cala Azul/esmeralda Complex Is One Of The Best Hot

Cala Azul/Esmeralda complex is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, not only for its perfect location with its breathtaking views but for all the facilities available. Everything was literally on the doorstep.

Overall A Wonderful Holiday To Cala Azul Park And

Overall a wonderful holiday to Cala Azul Park and although our first room was roadside, the reception made it possible for us to move in the second week, where the rooms had lovely views and location. Next time we will try to stay for half board facility since the kitchen made meals at home were difficult and restaurants in immediate vicinity tended to be a bit samey each night (more variety of different cuisines to be had in Cala D'Or centre a short 10 minute walk away). We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Cala D'or but this is by far our favourite for adults and kids alike and we will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

There Is Nowhere Near Enough Beds For The Pool Are

There is nowhere near enough beds for the pool areas to accomodate all guests. This should be addressed as well as a new hotel rule stopping the night brigade from sleeping out. The hotel should not allow anyone at the poolside before 8am. Apart from the bed scenario, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit the entertainment was geared towards our other European cousins.

This Was The 2nd Year At Cala Azul Park / Esmeral

This was the 2nd year at Cala Azul Park / Esmeralda we have been and it's absolutely brilliant!! Close to the beach and the pools are clean and well maintained. The accommodation is clean and quite roomy; all rooms have a balcony but good idea to request a pool/sea view. The first year we were there we just looked at another block, not very exciting. This year had a pool view with sunshine in the evening, just perfect chilling on the balcony with a cold drink!!. The complex is split into two areas Cala Esmerelda and Cala Azul Park and we stayed at Esmerelda the first year and Azul Park this year. Although I can't fault either area really, I did prefer Azul Park as it didn't seem so busy. All rooms have two hot plates and a toaster but no electric kettle; you boil the water in a kettle but on the hot plate instead. The kitchen is small but basic, a good excuse to eat out every night!!. There is a fridge with a small freezer slot if you do want to take a cooler bag with ice packs. Spacious bathroom and bedroom. Loads of room for myself / husband and 3yr old daughter. There are some excellent places to eat that are just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend the Chinese next door to El Patio on the main street, top class food. Loads of evening entertainment and the kids will love the Kokoloco club!! Some of the evening adult entertainment is excellent too with tributes to Tina Turner, Four Tops, Abba, you wouldn't know it wasn't the real thing. The Cala D'or mini train takes you straight into the centre of Cala D'or and only takes about 10 minutes about 2 euros each for a return ticket. You might see some big bikes about where the kids go up front and the adults peddle, unless you are super fit avoid them. Cala D'or is quite hilly and it nearly finished us off!!! The marina is worth a trip as is very pretty with some pretty flash boats about, has some nice restaurants too, mini train will drop you off quite near it. Thoroughly enjoyed our second trip and looking forward to going back.
