Really Recommend This For Families, Especially Tho

Really recommend this for families, especially those with younger children, lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were concerned about the pool, having read previous reviews but as long as kids can swim or have arm bands etc. its fine. The hotel feels very safe as it is so child focused.

Ola Aparthotel Isabel In Cala D'or Is A Very Run D

Ola Aparthotel Isabel in Cala D'Or is a very run down resort with poor facilities, and even poorer service. While the tired rooms were kept clean by staff, the rest of the facility was littered with rubbish. The kid's playground can only be described as dangerous, with a Frankenstein collection of faded, ill fitting plastic climbing toys with sharp broken edges. The sandy floor of this play area was a terrible mix of rubbish and broken hidden tiles. The kids club was "boring". Staff did nothing interactive with the children other than hand them crayons and sit them in front of the same video day in day out.

Drinks at the bar were overpriced, flat and served by surly lazy staff. Incorrect change was a constant problem, and hour long waits to get food was common.

The kid's swimming pool could only be described as a puddle, which was wholly inappropriate for a Family advertised facility. Both the indoor and outdoor adults' pool resembled a science projects Petri dish, with the lifeguards providing no preventative service other than pushing people into the pool. The number of kids and adults with torn feet from the rough surface of the pool was only beaten by the growing number attending the local clinic with ear infections.

If you were lucky enough to obtain a sun chair around the pool area, the lack of parasols left most unprotected from the strong sun. Despite complaints to staff and reps, nearly all sun chairs were reserved the night before. Why can't the chairs be hosed down and stacked in the evening like most other resorts, or at least make sure enough are provided for the numbers accommodated!?!

The room had a number of faults, including feeble air conditioning, broken TV cable, no cover sheet for sofa beds, broken bidet, missing drawer from cabinet, missing door shelf from fridge and the curtain was not the same size as the window. When the Satellite TV cable was replaced, only six stations were available, and only one of those was in English.

Lovely Area, Great For Kids, Food Not Good But Lot

Lovely area, great for kids, food not good but lots of restaurants near by and is cheap. Great value for money and would definitely recommend for families. No High chairs so bring safety first mobile one.
