Playa den Bossa, Sirenis Goleta

The Hotel Goleta in Playa Den Bossa is a Hotel that I would recoomend to absolutley any one. It caters for both families but also young people visiting the Ibiza party scene. The Hotel is very well presented with great facilities and lovely pools, the rooms are really lovely, the resturant serves amazing food with one of the best evening buffets that I have had, the staff are very friendly and the hotel backs on to the beach! It was about a 20 minute walk along the beach to Bora Bora, Space etc, and a 15 euro taxi to Pacha.

On the day we checked out we had an evening flight and the staff allowed our bags to be stored securly in a hold and gave us access to a room to shower before being picked up by a taxi.

Cannot reccomend this place enough, very good value for money!

We booked this holiday for a 7 day break in October. We have never been to Ibiza before, and heard lots of scary stories about the Brits behaviour, or lack of it. October was lovely, and the weather was beautifully warm - about 25c. The Playa den Bossa Sirenis Goleta hotel is great for anyone looking for a first class experience where you feel pampered. The spa is wonderful too, and you can use the steam rooms, wet rooms, play tennis for free, or use the indoor heated pool. Although it was rather too warm for us to make use of it on this occasion, along with the gym, we preferred to play a game of tennis outside; rackets and balls supplied for free. Just show your room key card and that's it. For anyone who still wants the nightlife, well, Ibiza town is available to get to easily by taxi. We opted for the water taxi that was just outside the hotel on the beach, it runs approx every 15 minutes. Our room was overlooking the beach on the side of the hotel nearest the swimming pool. We were quite high up so didn't have any problem with mosquitoes. We went to sleep with only one sheet on us, and the windows open to hear the sea lapping on the shore and the small harbour boats tinkling in the wind. It was a blissful week, and we will certainly be coming back to this four star hotel.

We picked up the week at a bargain price from First Choice holidays just a few weeks before going, at a total of just under £600 for two people for a premier package, that was half board, transport to and from the airport, extra baggage allowance, meals and sitting together. We will travel independently next visit, as the hotel is just a few miles from the airport by taxi. The hotel will let you book the room of your choice in advance if you ask them, and I recommend the top floor nearest the beach.
