The owner suggests on his online description www.formenteraonline.net that Casa Panchi would be ideal for honeymooners. This is too offensive to be funny. Casa Panchi in my opinion represents the lowest form of accommodation possible, camping is a much more preferable alternative to Panchi and at a fraction of the cost. That the owner is pocketing up to 240 euros per night for this shack keeps me up at night.
Don't expect any semblance of privacy if you book Casa Panchi, the owner will be fussing around you and pops over uninvited and unannounced and seems paranoid about what his guests may do...
Finally, above all, I have to comment once again on the extraordinary price he commands for this place.
As the owner of Casa Panchi, I wish to comment on this gentleman's review.
Before doing so I must say this complaint is unique, my wife and I invite anyone to call us and obtain telephone numbers or e-mails of clients who have agreed to support us in affirming quite the contrary of this review.

1) the house is 30 meters from the beach and sometimes has seaweed. The unfortunate 3 days this person stayed in our house, he could have avoided the seaweed by walking 100 meters down the beach.
2) the dining provisions for bad weather were a table, in front of the sofa, one could even eat with double doors open on the terrace, it did rain for these 3days but it isn't cold at this time of the year. There is also a very big table on the terrace (2 meters from that door as seen on our web page ). This gentleman seemed quite healthier than me but I could have easily brought this table in myself if he had rather wished not to himself. Apart from this the terrace has now a waterproof roof.
3) The leaky roof has been torn down and replaced this winter.
4) I am proud to say the house has always been impeccably clean.
5) Kitchen, bathroom have been redone and again no one apart from this person has been in the least unhappy about this
" unexisting unhygenicness" mentioned. All our renters have expressed TOTAL SATISFACTION ON EVERYTHING in regards to our house.
6) True about the impossibility to sunbathe as it was raining.
For the "relaxing place needed" afirmed missing , again I invite you to see the pictures of the house on our web page or call us.
7) The " ugly urbanisation", reflects the disappointment of this gentleman who hadn't taken a vacation for a few years, was received with rain and seaweed when expecting sand and sun.
I felt bad for him, his family and my leaky roof and reimbursed him.
8)About one room separated with curtains, I must say our guest is getting carried away in his upset, for there always have been 2 rooms and much more. The bathroom definitely has a door and always has.
9)All our other guest seemed, so far, very satisfied, no thanks for camping.
10) It is true that this August 2008, we went strong in asking 240 euros, we are planning to bring our prices down for next year, as the prices here are beginning to stabilize.
I will add we are booked up for August with a " regular " who has been booking the whole month of August for 3 years. See our other months which are much cheaper.
11 ) I wish this person all the happiness in the world and to sleep well ( if he only had the the fortune to know me a little, he would find, I am proud to say, a very kind person who definitely does not cheat.)
