Maritur Hotel, Albufeira

We were relocated to this extremely quiet hotel due to an over booking error at our preferred hotel in Albufeira.

When we arrived by taxi at this Remote location, we were extremely disappointed with our first impressions.

There was little life about the place, no poolside bar, limited English speaking tv channels in room (BBC World & Eurosport), had to pay for safe key, etc.

I must admit the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

There is a gorgeous beach about 10 mins away.

Surrounding area has very little on offer, two restaurants and a shop.

Taxis to Albufeira Old Town cost 7 Euros each way, expect a wait as limited during hours 6pm - 9pm.

I won't be returning to this hotel again.
