Alvor, Dunas Do Alvor Apartments

We were a bit reluctant at first but once we got to Alvor greatly enjoyed the whole experience. The reception staff were more than helpful, rooms were really clean and plenty of equipment for cooking etc. Would recommend to anyone to go and enjoy what Brisamar has to offer.

friendly bars and resturants, check out cactos bar mark, ali v/friendly and welcoming, with a couple of tunes, short walk to beach and the lovely little town, not too lively, mix of new and old, shop bars etc, we really enjoyed it,

A fantastic holiday was had by my whole family(nine of us altogether). We loved the resort of Alvor and the Dunas Do Alvor Apartments. The apartments are very spacious and set in attractive gardens and surroundings with a huge pool. The staff are all friendly and helpful, speaking good english. There are lots of bars and cafes to chose from in the complex and an abundance of these in Alvor itself which is only a pleasant stroll away. There is a huge choice of bars and resturants in Alvor with something for everyone - with fish and prawns being a speciality. The beaches are breath-taking and well worth a visit. I would recommend a day at Zoo marine. It's suitable for all the family and very well organised. We went to Lagos for the day, on the bus - it's a beautiful place, very similar to Alvor - bigger, but retaining it's charm. If you travel by bus to other Resorts you need to purchase a ticket from the ticket office in Alvor before you get on the bus. I would reccommend Portugal, Alvor and the Dunas Do Alvor Apartments to anyone. We never go to the same place twice but in this case we've made an exception! We've already booked up to return next year!
