Albufeira Jardim 1 Apartments

The accomodation was value for money,clean sheets every day by pleasant staff and the room was always clean to come back too.Great views of all of albuferia and the sea from balcony which was large enough for sunbathing ,. only down side. the cooker did not work properly, much to my wifes pleasure as we ate out in the many cheap restaurants out and about.

We stayed at Albufiera Jardim 1, it was self catering but the food at the restaurants were excellent, the apartments are near all amenities, shops and beach.

I enjoyed the holiday and recommend the jeep safari trip for the adventurous and try the fire water. Take your swimming wear on this trip. The strip is a good place to go for a lively night out with lots of clubs to choose from on one road.

I like these apartments - they are close to everything you need but are also a quiet place to stay if you get the right apartments.

Having stayed at Jardim 1 in the old town of Albuferia it has put me and my husband off staying in Portugal again. Travel republic gave us a great service the flights were great etc but they and anyone thinking of staying in this hotel should know it was filthy dirty. I think the cleaners just sat in their rooms and watched tv. They changed the bedding on the 6th day out of 7 and it was only when we went to bed we realised they had only changed the pillow slips and not the sheets, diabolical. We had to climb 97 steps to our room and we were bad enough but they had put 2 old dears up even higher than us, it wasn't as if there were no rooms below cause there were. We had to pay 20 euros for the tv remote, none refundable. The same remotes are 5 euros in the shops so anyone going buy one instead. Also 5 euros for a coke at the pool bar, in town only 1 euro. Hotel definitely ready for a refurb. All furniture from 1950s. Definitely will not be going back to this dump site of a hotel. But I would consider using travel republic again.
