Sliema, Crowne Plaza Hotel

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sliema last year and it was nice to return and see what's been done! Well nothing really apart from the lifts are all working now!!! We stayed for 3 weeks this time in a junior suite very spacious and very well kept the housekeeping staff do a grand job.

The food hasn't changed which in this case is good, the breakfasts are to die for everything you could possibly want for breakast (One of the best points.) The swimming pool is another, almost Olympic sized, very clean with comfortable sunbeds and resonable pool/bar sevice, there is building work close by but it really doesn't bother you unless you let it, and yes, I will be returning next year.

I'm going again to Crowne Plaza Hotel next month! I Went in Sept 2004, taking my teenage daughter this time, lots to see, cheap yellow buses take you all over island for less than £2 MAX.

We booked direct with the Crowne Plaza Hotel own reservations dept and got a very good rate on the room one price for the family all-inclusive, (unlike the travel company s per person supplements!!!)we had a family suite with a king size bed for us and good sized bunk beds for the kinds with a play station 1, hotel needs a lick of paint here and there but if you know Malta every where does!! good swimming pool area and comfy sunbeds free towel service and no reserving the beds at 0530am!! food was good and with 3 restaurants and room service all included in the all- inclusive package plenty of choice, the service is very old world not "in your face" so making for a very relaxing time and very good value for a 5* hotel

Crowne Plaza Hotel is in fantastic location however hotel is living on its past needs total refurbishment
