Jaccarino Or Iaccarino Hotel Is About 20 Minutes B
Jaccarino or Iaccarino hotel is about 20 minutes by bus from the heart of Sorrento, in the village of Sant'Agata, Italy. Not much goes on in the evening there, but it is a pleasant village. The last bus from Sorrento is 11pm, so avoid this hotel if you seek night-life. It is an old fashioned hotel with dark rooms, antique furniture and bathrooms, which I personally hated, but others loved. We paid for a sea view, and we were put in an attic with no balcony, so we had to pay 20 Euros per day extra for a balcony, which we thought was included, so beware! The back views are horrible, so you just HAVE to pay for a view. Most people seemed to go on trips almost every day, so the pool was very quiet. Towels are provided, but a Coke cost 3.50 euros. The hotel has a mini-bus SERVICE - not a courtesy bus, which costs 5 Euros each way. The local bus costs 1 Euro and stops outside the hotel, or in the village, a few minutes walk away! Can't understand how this hotel merits 4*. By Spanish standards it would be 2/3*. Most people we spoke to liked the hotel, but I would not go back. We met lovely people, as it's a very friendly hotel, and I DID enjoy my holiday - just hated going to my room!!!
