Laganas, Gioie de Mare

Good points with the Gioie de Mare, great location and really friendly bar staff. Bad points, Nearly everything!!! The rooms were disgusting! Very basic and not worth the money! Lots of additional costs once you have arrived like air-con, fans, fridges etc.

Gioie de Mare in Laganas, is great for young groups of mates looking to chill all day and party all night. Oldest person in the hotel that I knew of was 25 and there were no families or children. Not much to order food wise from hotel except toasties but that's fine cos the hotel is right in the middle of McDonald's KFC and Pizza Hut. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Laganas Gioie de Mare - If you're after a lazy day around the pool and a few drinks before hitting the pubs then this is it. The staff are realy great and friendly and there are some great late night parties in the rather smallish bar.

If it's an early night then you may find then neighbouring bar is loud and you then use the double glazing to cut it out but you then require the air conditioning (30 euro's per week).
