Lacking On Entertainment
We stayed at galaxy me husband and two children the location of the hotel is perfect ,cleanliness very good but the down side is the entertainment for the children also need to improve on the quality of the food and more choices of dishes.Overall it was a good holiday lots of restaurants nearby so I would suggest go self catering.

We Stayed At The Galaxy Beach Hotel In August 2005
We stayed at the Galaxy Beach Hotel in August 2005, the Airtours brochure claims the hotel is a 3* plus, however When we arrived we found this was not the case.
The bedrooms were very run down and a little bit depressing. Although the hotel was all inclusive which was great for couples with children, we found that there was very little choice at meal times. One night it was so bad we decided to eat out and found we had forgotten just how good food could actually taste. We gave breakfast a chance but this was no better and for the rest of our time at the Galaxy we decided to give it a miss!
The entertainment at the hotel was ok if you like playing bingo, and karaoke.
This hotel only caters for roughly 20% of British people, the rest are mainly Dutch and the daytime activities for children are centred around them.
All in all I would advise anyone considering staying at the Galaxy hotel to be prepared it does not live up to the ratings in the brochure it would be fair to give the hotel a 2* plus rating.

For Families With Little Children Laganas Is The P
For families with little children Laganas is the perfect place. Close to the airport, hotel on the beach, with two pools. The beach is sand, the water is warm and not immediately deep. For Dutch children there is the kids-world club. The food was so nice! The staff are friendly all day.
