Scala Potamias, Souzana Studios

Good points, fantastic service. Bad points, outsiders using the pool. Overall Souzana Studios are lovely, friendly staff, very clean, fantastic place to stay.

Souzana Studios is a great place to stay. We went 15 months ago, I'm not sure how to book the accommodation as Golden sun have now gone bust?? I have heard a FEW bad points from people who visited this year, but some people do expect too much. This is EXCELLENT basic Greek accommodation set in lovely quiet surroundings. It is a good 20 minute walk along the beach to Golden Beach. The next resort along is about 15 minutes to the harbour which is however at the very end of the resort of Skala Potamia. There are breath taking views of the mountains in the background. Make sure you have a night out in Thassos Town,take the water taxi from Golden Beach there and a standard taxi back. Eat in Megas Alexandros (same owners as these apartments so they will point you in the right direction) and the Indian restaurant in the resort there is superb too believe it or not! if you fancy a change from traditional Greek.
