Limenaria, Thalassies Hotel

Old building, few only rooms with good view to the sea, the rest facing backs of othe buildings. No elevator! Old towels giving the impression of dirt.

TOO NOISY due to nearby bars (loud music all night!) and location of hotel restaurant.

Rocky sea hardly allowing any swimming in front of hotel (even with acqua shoes).

Food quality poor. Always the same 2-3 standard things for breakfast, no choice).

Same with hotel restaurant (few choices, poor quality, high prices, little relation to traditional greek kitchen).

Polite staff but on the other hand rude owners and ignorant to any customer comments/complaints.

Certainly NOT RECOMMENDED!

Thalassies Hotel is a perfect, friendly and with helpful people. They also have the great and best swimming pool in Limenaria. Very dark and gloomy downstairs with old furniture, I think the bar area needs upgrading.

We had a super holiday at the Thalassies Hotel in Thassos - the locals are very friendly and helpful and they all seem to speak English. We would go back again - no doubt.
