Golden Beach, Aphrodite Studios

Cleen rooms. Simple and very basic. Nice owners. Great location.

I loved Aphrodite Studios Just what i needed. It's all mine so don't go there.

The Aphrodite Studios in Thassos are so close to the beach, which is perfect. You must eat at the Vigly where the food is excellent. Lovely apartments. Clean and cosy.

You must visit Panagear, which is the nearest next village, and it can be walked to in about an hour if strolling.

Thassos is a small island, and it is just great for a great rest and get away from it all. Don't expect entertainment. That's not what it's about. You have to travel to the island by boat, which takes about 3/4 of an hour, which may put some people off, but its worth the trip. Trips to the mainland are available if you feel the need to explore. Thassos town has some good shops if that is your thing.

Aphrodite Studios are spacious, uncomplicated accomodation, just across a track to the beach, safe bathing. Pleasant walks to Scala Potamia (the nearest village)lots of travernas, minimarkets within 200/300 metres. We have been to these studios in 2002 & 2003 and will be going again early September this year.
