Platanias, Panos Apartments & Studios

Panos appartments are evrything we wanted.

Across the road from the beach, with all local ammenities within a 2 minute walk.

The owner himself is one of the friendliest guys you could wish to meet.

He made is more than welcome, I felt one of the family when we left.

Ok the pool may be small but as I,ve said the ocean is across the road.

The appartments are lovely but watch out for the haunted one...lol

we are def going back in 2012, but not with skywings..2 hour delay outbound, 4 hour delay inbound.

we met some great people over there, very friendly and they made the holiday very pleasurable.

It,s not the ideal place for kids but if you are looking for a chill out holiday then this is the place to go.

it`s on the see front a beautiful beech with lots of sea sport`s plenty to do and lots of eateries scattered about everywhere.everybody you meet very friendly they all go back year after year a boommarang island i highly recommend.

Good Value Holiday with Kosmar. Flights with XL had 2 hour delay outward and 4 hour delay on return with record 30 min aircraft turn round to meet airport curfew of 0030. Rep was fine apartments are basic but clean and quite spacious. Wet bathroom with powerful shower(Greek Style) and good toilet. Utensils very basic. AC costs 7 euro pd and Safe deposit 11 euroe pw. Apartment can be held until departure for 15 euros. Had double bed and 3 small hand towels. Recommend bring extra towels. Apartments cleaned alternate days and linen changed weekly. Greek owners nearby and check daily. Located 100 metres from Dolphin Supermarket at far end Lassi partly up steep hill. Good car perking and small verandah for each apartment with table and 2 chairs. Nice neighbourly feel. Lassi beaches all within walking distance as are bars and restaurants. Argostouri 15 min walk up steep sloping hill or 6 euros by taxi. 3 supermarkets Lassi with varying prices but generally dearer than UK. Temperature second half of May gradually increased daily from low 2o`s to low 30`s no rain experienced. Used Peffonis car hire and found them excellent did not quibble when car had puncture exchanged car and refunded petrol money we had put in damaged car. Roads are rough with loose stones. Due to Euro eating out quite expensive similar prices to UK. Lovely island best places to visit Capital Assos and Myrtle Beach.

We have stayed at these studios twice and now and would definitely go back again the place is beautiful peaceful and relaxing it is clean with the beach just across the road and the green hill just behind you if you like a chill out holiday then Platanias is the place to stay very Friendly locals who love to chat and make you feel more than welcome. small airport with quick turn round no waiting or delays on the 2 times we have been. Can't wait to go back.

The owner of Panos Apartments and Studios is a very charming and entertaining host. He should be respected for the fantastic job he does and for the standard of quality maintained at the apartments. A top man! Apartments, although simple (as they generally are in Greece) were well looked after, grounds immaculate with a clean pool. Good advice provided on local amenities.

The owner himself was very welcoming and was quite happy to leave the bar open for myself and my husband until 3.30 am! He got alot of stick from English tourists so that's probably why he sometimes seemed a bit moody (see other reviews August 07). During our stay I heard one Tourist shout to him "Oi Greek barman!" - what more can I say? The apartments were very clean and spacious with great views either to the sea or mountains. Loads of lovely Taverna's locally that serve traditional food at good prices. I would recommend the fish for 2 at Jimmy's Taverna. We'd love to got back next year.

The owner of the Panos Apartments and Studios can be a bit moody but once you get to know him is a very pleasant and helpful person. The apartments are typically Greek but clean and maid service is very good - she works very hard. The pool is on the small side and only gets the sun after lunchtime. There is a Happy Hour in the evening and Panos mixes a very large range of Cocktails. Dining is very good in the small selection of restaurants in the resort, a very relaxing resort with none of the hassle you get at some of the other Greek resorts.

The owner was a great guy, and he was much more of a guide to us than Olympic Holidays themselves. The room at the Panos Apartments and Studios in Platanias, Skiathos, was clean and it made an ideal base. The resort was fantastic!

Excellent holiday! The resort was the best in Skiathos, and the owner was a great host. Have planned to go back next year. 10* rating.

We arrived at Panos Studios on the 4th August 06 - when we reached there we had to wait a couple of hours for our room. We thought the owner was quite nice at first but a couple of days in he started acting all snappy with us when asking a simple question. The resort that we stayed in was very nice but going into Skiathos town would be better if you wanted some more action & nightlife. The Beaches were really nice and sandy. We rented a car to see some more of the stunning scenery, there was lots more beaches outside the resort including the banana beaches [the little one is for the nudists.] All together this was a nice holiday except for the mosquitoes and the owner of the studios.

I have been to Greece on numerous occasions and all apartments are basic, but all you do is sleep and change there. The owner of the Panos Apartments and Studios in Skiathos is really nice, and he entertained us throughout our 2 week stay. The location is great, as there are a few good restaurants within a stones throw, as well as bars, but the bus is every 15 minutes right outside, and it will cost £1.10 (euro) to Skiathos town, which is also beautiful. The beach is a 3 minute walk just across the road, and it is very clean and pretty, but again, it is also close to several other beaches. Judging off other apartments, Panos was a good choice for us. (Only snacks served as self catering).
