Lovely Place. Will Be Going Back Again.

We went here in a large party of 10. Ages ranging from 3 to 75 and I can say that we all enjoyed it. It is right on the beach. Has a lovely pool including kids area. A childs playground. A supermarket on site which was cheaper than those in town. Nice bar and restaurant. Appartments are basic but lovely and cleaned everyday. Just a short walk to the main town which is lovely. Not too busy but still has lots of lovely places to eat. The staff are lovely and ever so helpful. Kiero was very friendly and helpful and ever so good with the kids. We are already planning our return next year.

I Travelled To Palm Bay Studios In Pefkos With My

I travelled to palm bay studios in Pefkos with my sister and we have stayed at many places in Pefkos but this was without doubt the worst. We found the studio to be very dirty on arrival. The room was not cleaned while we were there and the towels were changed once in 10 days. The bins were not changed daily..surely a health hazard in such heat.we paid 58 euros for 1 weeks air con which is over the top.We found the staff unfriendly and unhelpful and we felt intimidated when we had to complain due to our electrics going,he was not happy at having to change our room. The location is fantastic but it is such a shame more care is not taken over cleanliness.

Value For Money. Palm Bay Is A 10 Min Stroll From

Value for money. Palm Bay is a 10 min stroll from the centre of Pefkos. Spacious rooms, cleaned daily. Large pool with free sun loungers and parasols. The beach is a few steps away from the pool and is quiet and free of sun loungers, vendors and watersports. The pool bar/restaurant area is open from about 8.30 until midnight. The pool area is open from 9am til 7pm. There is a supermarket on your doorstep as well as the bus stop. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge, I paid 98 euro for 2 weeks. We received a friendly service and have no complaints whatsoever about this holiday. The highlight was discovering just how close the beach was.

We Have Been Going To Pefkos For Many Years And Ha

We have been going to Pefkos for many years and have tried a number of the restaurants including the Enigma and Nostalgia. By far the best is the Greek House, food always excellent, service friendly. Over the years we have made friends with the owners. On our last visit in June 2008 we were surprised, pleased to learn that he had opened another restaurant in Rhodes Town called "Divine" in the area of Midia (near the Hotel) which we dined at and although the menu was different we found this to be every bit as good as the Greek House. The restaurant is very plush and is certainly worth making the journey and one we will be making again on our return in September.

We Were Dissappointed That The Apartments Were Not

We were dissappointed that the apartments were not cleaned regularly enough to our liking, also that after the first couple of days they only changed the bins every other day. We did it ourselves as you cannot leave rubbish long in 40 degrees!

Also we had to buy the Air con for the whole week which was an additional 70 euros, its not a genuine option in such heat

I wont go back to Palm beach, fickle staff service and minimal cleaning of apartments.

I Found Pefkos A Very Enjoyable Place For A Holida

I found Pefkos a very enjoyable place for a holiday although the actual resort was not for children, as there were not enough going on for them. It is ideal for couples. Lindos and Rhodes were nice places to visit. If I went back I think I would hire a car to get around the Island a lot more. The beach at Palm Bay Hotel left a lot to be desired as it was littered and dirty and not a place for sunbathing. But from the places I visited I think if I went back there I would still stay in Pefkos rather than Lindos or Rhodes Town. It was nice at night visiting the different restaurants and cocktail bars, all the restaurants had lovely settings. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I stayed at the hotel next to Palm Bay three years ago and my family used Palm Bay facilities every day. This was because the Koralli was very busy and some waiters were over the top with their drinking.

We enjoyed the Palm Bay so much that last year we actually stayed there for two weeks. I found the Hotel, owner and staff brilliant. The owner, Michalis, was always happy to see us. There were nights when myself and two teenagers would stay up very late playing pool and we were never asked to leave or made to feel it was time to go to bed.

On the day we left most of the staff came to see us off and there was genuine disappointment that we were leaving. Although they may have forgot us quickly I am sure when we return we will be welcomed with open arms and friendship will be quickly re-established.

It is expensive with paying for air conditioning as this is an added charge from spending money. It would be better to add the charge to the holiday price and have the use of this all the time.

As for Rhodes I love it and I will be returning.

Overall Despite The Few Bad Points About Palm Bay

Overall despite the few bad points about Palm Bay Aparthotel, the good points by far outweigh the bad!!

I for one will definately be coming back to this hotel because if your looking for a relaxing holiday with all the amenities locally and a short stroll into the main drag, which is also resonably quiet compared with say Faliraki, well this is the place to stay.

It is also a good base for touring the island with buses only 3 euros to as far as rhodes town.

Hi, I have just booked a holiday for myself and my 15 year old son into the studios at the Palm Bay Aparthotel. I am concerned if there are 2 beds or whether there are 2 sofa beds. Does anyone have any photos of the studios of the rooms and the sleeping arrangements as I cant find any or worse case scenario only the one sofa bed many thanks

I Enjoyed Many Of The Tavernas In Pefkos. Particu

I enjoyed many of the tavernas in Pefkos. Particularly the Enigma and Nostalgia. Both served food and wine of high quality in an unrushed fashion. Enigma specialised in a seafood salad starter which is among the best I have ever tasted.

We visited Pefkos during September 2003, staying at the Matina Apartments. We had the best food and service at the Greek House, George and his wife were great hosts and served outstanding food. We would not have asked for better service, and consequently dined there for most of the 2 weeks. We are looking forward to visiting again in June of this year and hope that the restaurant has not changed hands.

The Matina Apartments were very clean and comfortable and so close to the beach I would thoroughly recommend a stay there.

Absolutley Fantastic, Our First Greek Holiday. Pef

Absolutley fantastic, our first Greek holiday. PEFKOS - Ideal posistion for families, Strongly recommend The Coliseum for both accomadation and food. Good beaches, however we avoided the busier Central Beach. Total holiday made better by 80+ temperatures.
