Atlantica Princess

Great hotel, great location, very clean, good food, big rooms. The staff were all very friendly and polite. I have stopped in many of the Atlantica hotels and they are all good, but this one is the best i have stayed in. Never met so many nice people on holiday.

Just returned from 2 week all inclusive with family 2 kids aged 5 and 15. Had brilliant time hotel staff very friendly in all bars. All areas spotlessly clean. The food was the best ever with a superb choice and the waiting staff had tables ready and were always smiling. Would definitely go again!

I am a young 60 year old and I spent 2 weeks at the hotel with my 19 year old daughter.

I cannot find the words to praise the accommodation, staff and meals, all of which were perfect. There was also entertainment all day and night. This is ideal for families and couples. The hotel Atlantica Princessis is actually in Ialyssos even though it is shown as being in Ixia.

The beach is pebbles but that is made clear in the descriptions and we never bothered anyway.Rhodes town, about 15 mins away is superb for sightseeing and shopping.

Ialyssos was quiet but I presume that was because we holidayed in the first week in May which was hot enough to burn. The temperatures were around the 23C.

There are plenty of bars and shops within walking distance.

We would definitely return to this part of Rhodes, Ixia was absolutely beautiful! We would highly recommend renting a car to explore more of the island as well.

We found that the hotel entertainment was very similar from night to night, so regularly escaped to Alkionis sports bar, a 10 minute walk away, where we fould a number of other hotel guests!

The hotel itself was very clean, and the rooms very spacious with excellent facilities. The rooms do not get cleaned on Sundays.

The one extremely suprising thing about the staff is that they do not expect or even in some cases, accept tips.

We stayed at the Atlantica Princess in June 2004 on an all-inclusive basis. Rooms were large and cleaned 6 out of 7 days. All staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Meals were a good with a large variety and a separate kids menu with the usual chips, nuggets, burgers, pizza and beans etc. Be wary of the mosquitoes. I don't get bitten normally but they made a meal of me. Pool is large and there's an outside restaurant and bar. Evening entertainment team were 99% First Choice Reps and they were good. The kids club was fantastic. Whatever they were paying the kids reps it wasn't nearly enough.

Hotel is on sea front with plenty of bars and supermarkets nearby. Beware if you have children - opposite the entrance to the Hotel is a very large toy shop with a 'Wacky Warehouse' on the side. It will cost you a fortune if the kids get to see it.

All in all a wonderful Hotel; couldn't fault it.
