Before Me And My 2 Friends Went To Faliraki, We Ha
Before me and my 2 friends went to Faliraki, we had read reviews about Sands Studios and were not looking forward to going, but from the minute we arrived we had a ball! i would take no notice to the bad reviews about this hotel because they are a load of rubbish! the hotel itself was brilliant, it was claen and tidy, the service was fab and the owners were amazing with us. the rooms where sound and the pool was great! we were 2 minutes from the beach and bars and were advised on where to go, how to get there and anything else we needed a hand with! thanks to everyone in Sands our holiday was brillaint!!!!!!

Our 2 Week Holiday In Faliraki This Year Was The B
Our 2 week holiday in Faliraki this year was the best EVER holiday that we have both been on. I did actually cry when we returned back to the airport back in the UK. The only thing that I would say spoiled it was the place that we stayed in, Sand Studio. Maybe this name was given because of the amount of Sand that was in our studio? It was the worst place either of us have ever stayed. It was so unclean and dirty. We lived out of our suitcases for the whole holiday, as we didn't feel that the draws and wardrobes were clean enough to put our clothes in.
Our room hardly got cleaned, and we ended up having to empty our own bins, as the cleaners were virtual I think. We even changed our own bedding, as I couldn't sleep any longer in the dirt. The cleaner changed our bedding ONCE during our 2 weeks stay. When we went down we had to ask for clean sheets, pillow cases, towels and a bin liner to do it all ourselves, then the cleaner knocked on the door and said that she had forgot to do our room that particular day. So that's fine then, the bedding would have got changed TWICE in 2 weeks. It's simply not good enough. We could often been seen emptying our own bins daily, but we had to for hygiene.
The family seemed OK with you as long as you were spending plenty of your Euros with them in their expensive bar. But why would you when you have a fantastic Morrisons supermarket just down the street, with the loveliest people ever? You aren't allowed to consume your own food and drink round the pool, so we just went to our room when we needed to eat. Although, don't expect to be able to cook anything on the 2 rings. It looked as if it needed a good clean and service. We never used any of the facilities in the studio, i.e. 2 plates, 2 forks and 2 cups etc., or the kettle. We just didn't trust the standards, so we bought some knives for making sandwiches, and paper plates from the supermarket, and we saw ants on the cooking worktop, which doesn't help things.
To be fair to Sands, the pool area was lovely, clean and tidy, but there was a lot of loud music daily, so you couldn't hear one another speak. We were in a good location also, and only 5 minutes away from the beach and nightlife. The only 2 good points I can say about the Sands.
Please watch out for the black women who try and shake your hand and stick a red piece of string round your wrist and charge you 10 Euros for it.
Falaraki was just great, and I couldn't fault the resort. Most of the people, shops, pubs and places to eat, and the beach were just fantastic. The Waterpark was probably the best day. We had so much fun, and it was worth 20 Euros, but the taxi driver going charged us 8 Euros, then another one charged us 5 Euros on the way home. It just shows that everyone will try it on. Morrisons was our favourite Supermarket. Desert Rose was our favourite restaurant, and the staff were lovely and very friendly, and Champers bar was our favourite pub. We would recommend days out in Rhodes town, Faliraki Waterpark and Lindos, and they are all well worth a visit.
We will some time in the future go to Faliraki again, but we will stay somewhere else.
