Parga Town, Villa Andreas

We've just returned from a week at Villa Andreas and had a fab time. Weather was lovely and certainly better than the rain back home. Can't say enough good things about the staff - always a smile on their faces and gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. The rooms were well equipped (for Greece) and kept lovely and clean. The location was good with roughly a 10 min walk into Parga (at a 3yr olds pace)and unlike the walk to other apartments it was mostly on the flat. We will definitely recommend Villa Andreas to others. It was our second visit to Parga and can certainly see us returning in the future.

Villa Andreas is a splendid Hotel in a great location. Far enough away from the main town to enjoy quiet times. Also a nice easy walk to the town and local beaches. The Main beach (Voltas) is a water taxi ride away from the town centre and reasonably priced. Access to everywhere in Parga is excellent and Car hire can be arranged by the hotel staff and owner, for those wishing to travel further out and discover the area.

The apartments are lovely & modern. Very friendly owners who can not do enough for you. There's a member of staff that we nicknamed 'Uncle Mike' because he was very good with the children, especially when he organised 'Mikes Gang' to keep them entertained around the pool with various activities. Even packed lunches weren't a problem for him if you wanted a day at the beach. The facilities at the Villa Andreas are great, a lovely safe pool & a relaxing environment for couples or those with children. There's certainly a good bar & snack service at reasonable prices. There are exclusive things that you can ask for e.g. Feta Cheese Toasties (They are lovely), kiddies meals & lovely club sarnies. Generally this is in an excellent location, the envy of all other holiday makers. Fantastic!! Wish we didn't have to come home. The kids miss uncle Mike!

We had our holiday in June for two weeks this year, it was a lovely place to live in! Lovely walk to the beach and the center of Parga in the evening.

Villa Andreas is a calm , clean and friendly place to have your holiday in! We can recommend it to people who like to spend a nice ,quiet time in Greece!

We have spent yet another great holiday at Villa Andreas, fourth year in a row. We have been to many Greek resorts but Parga has captured our hearts and V A are the best apartments we have ever stayed in. They have everything you could need for your holiday spotlessly clean well equipped and great staff who cannot do enough to make your holiday wonderful.

Very good value for money, ideal location for couples.

So many places to eat and eat well, especially the restaurant next door and at hotel (Alfa) opposite, don't be put off by the up-market decor, food and prices were excellent. Also the restaurant on harbour square near the Anchor, you go upstairs and sit around two sides of the building on a balcony overlooking the harbour. Loved Parga with it's lively, narrow streets to shop in. We would definitely go back. It was buzzing but not too busy.

Bar area needs a Mythos pump! The Heineken tastes good though, especially when brought in person to your sun bed!

The arpartments are of a very good quality, and the staff are only to pleased to help, the area around is quite and it is only a 10 min walk into town, would go and stay again

We were only at Villa Andreas Parga Town for a week but would recommend the following:

Train ride to Ali Pasha castle

Lichnos beach

Sarakiniko beach (lovely boat ride there from Parga harbour via water taxi 1dep 11 return 5)

Car hire for a day - Prevezza/Nekromantion/river Acheron and beach/Sivota - hire a boat for an hour or 2 and go round the islands/great drive back on coast/mountain road to Parga

Boat trip to Paxos/Anti Paxos/caves - swim in the blue lagoon was probably the highlight as very hot day
