Molyvos, Acropol Hotel

We would not hesitate recommending The Akropol Hotel. Quiet location 10/15 min stroll to the local Tavernas & bars. The pool and views from the hotel very good. Overall Lesvos and The Akropol Hotel was very enjoyable and we are looking forward to returning next summer.

the owners were very freindly, and made me very welcome. i would reccomend this a a very good hotel. the pool was excellant and was kept clean and tidy.

i have read other reviews on the akropol, and totally disagree with them.

If this hotel, the Acropol was owned by someone else or if the current owners went on an intensive customer care course it would be fantastic. Until I was sure of new owners I would not go back or recommend. Lovely location near castle. Beautiful traditional building with a very nice pool area with a nice view of the sea and glorious sunset. Herds of sheep go past the hotel at night - lovely to watch them. The owners very unfriendly and they don't want you cooking in the rooms. Self catering is on the ground floor with not such good views and one room in particular (the one we had for the first week, until we insisted to be moved) is tiny, dark and like a prison cell.
