Tingaki, Angela Apartments

Food was v good and good value.staff very attentive. Overall good atmosphere and very clean I might go again .only disappointed was the pool is almost in the street and offered no privacy.the .the linen was changed most days .we also thought the air condition was very expensive but the music was just up our tast.e

We stayed here in July 2013 . These rooms are situated about 5 mins from bars restaurants and shops just enough away from any noise . These studios are very basic they need seriously updating as everything is tired and worn out. Aircon is not included which costs 45 euros a week . This has always baffled me as if you book a hotel room in England. You don't get charged for heating . You also have to supply your own toilet roll and if you want to use your safe in your room for valuables this will cost you 20 euros a week a complete rip off . The staff make you feel welcome so long as you drink and eat there all day and night . If you don't then your made to feel like an outsider . I am sure the Greek owners would be better running there business then leaving it to two English guys who can't be bothered to do anything other than smoke and play on there phones .

The resort of tingaki is small with a beautiful beach . There are quite a few tavernas and bars all serving very good food . A main meal will cost between 7 and 15 euros depending on what you order . The bus will take you to Kos town which is around 15 mins away and well worth a visit there is a beautiful harbour and small streets with many shops bars and tavernas. You can also get boat trips from here to near by islands and to turkey all at reasonable prices .

Lovely holiday in kos good value for a late booking would hate to have paid full price as I would have been very disappointed with accommodation .

My wife and I went to this hotel in October 2012 - when we arrived the welcome was very warm and we appreciated that after a long journey. Food was good and the rooms were clean. However all went well until we decided to eat at different restaurants after eating at hotel for 5 nights. This did not go down well. In fact one couple told us that they were being ignored because of doing the same thing. NOT GOOD. Not our scene.

We were given a warm welcome by Nicky, who owns angela apts along with husband GDefinatelyeorge, our apt was basic but clean we had a fantastic view overlooking greek islands and Turkey.we stayed for 2 weeks and cant wait to return, the food was amazing george is a brilliant chef,Dave and Paul work the shop and bar 2 lovely guys with a wicked sense of humour going out of their way to make your holiday special,Jean and Nigel [olympic rep]was extremely helpful and friendly.

Kos is a lovely small island and as always the Greek people are one of the friendliest of just about any nation .

Angela apartments were ideal for my party of 3 ladies welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble for the staff or the owners they would accommodate any needs where possible. We hired a car for 4 days and spent time at each town or resort on the tourist trail would definitely recommend the little soft top jeeps. Had some amazing food and would always recommend a visit to kos, the rep Nigel was really helpful and always about if needed. The guys in the hotel were very funny, knowledgable and brilliant hosts and entertainers would consider going back again in may.

Overall these apartments were fine, just couple things as mentioned above. The cleaner came in every other day and always after 10am, towels changed everytime she came in, bedding however was only changed at start of 2nd week. Tingaki is a lovely little resort, beautiful beach-we used chrissys sunbeds. Best place we found for full english breakfast was Pigeeez - set us up for the day! We will go back to Kos, probably in couple of years and have no hesitation in going back to Angela apartments.

The Angela Apartments in Tingaki are great. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are clean and well maintained sheets and towels regularly changed. We had a kettle in our studio the first time ever in all times have been to Greece. Would love to go back again.

The beach in Tingaki, Angela Apartments is lovely and sandy and the sea is clear blue. The sunbed man who has his sunbeds directly down from the road heading down to the beach is the best.

The Angela Apartments were fairly basic, but had everything we needed, including a pool and a balcony. The rooms were kept clean and towels were provided regularly. The apartments are on the main street and only a 5 minute walk from the main part of the town, although there are some restaurants just outside. The supermarket is a 2 minute walk up the road and the beach is a 10 minute walk down the road.

Tingaki has lots of lovely restaurants, and although the nightlife is fairly low -key, there are plenty of bars and a few discos which stay open until the early hours of the morning. I would definitely recommend Tingaki to anyone who likes relaxing, and partying, but it isn't a clubbing venue. I would go again any time.
