The Captains Hotel

I have just returned from a week at The Captains Hotel with my wife, son and girlfriend. Our first impression of the hotel was not very good and unfortunately this was true for the remainder of the accommodation too. As we sized the hotel exterior up and down and walked into the reception area we all looked at each other in astonishment and disappointment. It can best be described as something out a 1970's pub decorated with ships, anchors and dark wooden panelling. I'm sure you get the picture.

I have visited the Greek Island for eleven years or so and Kos four times in that period. I can quite honestly say this was the worst accommodation that I have stayed in.

Three other parties, including ourselves, complained to the Rep who after prompting managed to find alternate accommodation with availability but at an additional cost of 300Euro. We decided to stay as we were now three days into our holiday with only four days remaining.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE CAPTAINS HOTEL, KOS TOWN.
