Svoronata, Avithos Resort Hotel

We stayed at the hotel in July 2007 and were married in Kefalonia (not at Avithos) during our stay plus in new in laws stayed here - and we all thought this hotel was def the best we have stayed in on kefalonia over the past 6 visits. Excellent setting, quiet and tranquil and the studio apartment very good, clean spacious with flat screen tv !!!!! Excellent bathroom and shower, which wasn't hand held! bonus! Plenty of space and sunbeds around pool some of the sunbeds were wooden, very nice - which in its self was beautiful. Not much going on in the evening, most people went out and a car is really a good idea. Go to Argostoli in the evening and enjoy the vibe. Love the hotel, love Kefalonia.

As we were leaving the menu (greeksalad, burger etc) seemed to be going up and the price for ice cream (in a dish) was about EURO 7 !! If this was right, as the new menu just came out as we were leaving, food would be very overpriced, so beware of that! But Greek salads were really good.
