Imperial Belvedere

The hotel is linkde to the Sister hotel the Royal Belvedere making it a very big complex. I preferred the Imperial but you could easily use any of the services across both. We were a party of 10 and asked for a sea view. They were very acomodating and all rooms were available at an additional cost. (There are lots of additioanl costs). One of the rooms were not available until the second day so we would have had to change BUT, we didn't. The rooms were nicer and yes, they did have a sea view but, they were noisy. If you want a quiet stay take one of the appartment type rooms. We were in 915. Any room you choose will have a rock hard (not just very firm) bed. We found this very uncomfortable and came away from the holiday extremely tired! that and a noisy room would have been disastrous. The food is a bit repetitive but palletable. The staff were very good - particularly the bar staff around the top pool bar. The UK could do well to understand how they perfrom so efficiently. At dinner they cook one dish fresh but, it nothing different than whats already in the buffet really. IE Chicken breast or fish. A little more variety would be good! The pool areas were clean BUT you need to get those towels out early especially if you want an umbrella and a party sitting together. The top pool is best for adults with the bottom pool for very young children who are well looked after. the middle pool is where the daily entertainment happens. Take beach towels as you'll pay 1€ each day for theirs and thats on top of the daily 1.5€ for the bed matress. If you like you Bailey (even the local version) you will need to upgrade you All Inclusive to AI Plus! Overall its a fairly pleasant hotel and if they could resolve some of the issues it could improve but, it would come down to cost and reduced revenue
