Heraklion, Alexander Beach Resort

I have mobility problems but this hotel the Alexander Beach Resort is pretty accessible. When we were staying (20/05/2008 7 nights) there was another British couple at the hotel and the husband was in a wheelchair, the staff and other guests who were predominately German were always willing to help.

All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the restaurant manager who arranged for us to have a terrace table for dinner.

Much of the entertainment was geared towards the Germans who seem to go to bed when entertainment ends. More Brits need to visit this hotel. Fabulous holiday we wished we had stayed for two weeks rather than do Ocean Village cruise. Highly recommend
