Cherry Court Hotel. Small, clean, wonderfully cnnveoient near Victoria Station. Free internet access in the lobby. I've stayed there twice once in 2000 and again last fall and had a great experience. cherrycourthotel.co.uk
The Hera Village Hotel In Elounda, Crete Is Meant
The Hera Village Hotel in Elounda, Crete is meant to be a 4* hotel, but it is not. I would say it is 2 * at the most, and that is being kind.
We went all inclusive, but the food was terrible. It was never hot, with the same dishes basically every day. The snacks throughout the day were a joke - pizza in the morning and dry old cake in the afternoon.
There's meant to be a private beach, but there isn't. There is just a very steep walk down to some rocks, and if you dare, you can climb over into the sea.
The information we had said we were in walking distance of Elounda. Yeah right! It is about an hours walk on a busy main road.
The only good point is the views.
