At The Louis Creta Princess Club Hotel In Crete Yo
At the Louis Creta Princess Club Hotel in Crete you can have as much food and drink as you can get down you. Drink is all self service, apart from spirits. Lager, wine, mixers, water, and cocktails are all on tap, so help yourself. You can get a drink from 7am in the morning until 12am at night, and if you fill your table at 5 minutes to 12, that's OK. Just ask for a tray and fill it up. No problem.
Food is there from 7am until 12 also. In the morning there is everything you need for breakfast. All the cereals, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, sausage, all fresh fruit and yoghurt, pancakes with syrup and much more. If you miss that, you can go to the Italian for ham or cheese or tuna toasties. There's also pasta and various snacks and salads. At 1 o'clock the pizzas kick in. Also, at the same time the Chinese opens up with a fried noodle dish, special fried rice and a different main each day. And if this doesn't do you, there's the pool bar BBQ with different fish each day, and chicken, lamb, or pork, all with roast spuds or chips. Everywhere you eat there are lovely salads and fresh fruit. You can't go wrong! Some people will say the food is much the same, and I thought this after 12 days, but this is because, like me, they put everything that was on on their plate at every meal. Try to stick to a different item each meal. You can get snacks such as pasties, hotdogs, roast spuds, kebabs, and all sandwich stuff until 12 at night. I thought the food was brilliant!!
The animation team were excellent! One or two of the shows were a bit cheesy, but they worked very hard for long hours to keep you active, but only if you wanted it. They weren't pushy. If you have kids they won't want to come home.
The beach is a mix of rocks and sand, but it has a lovely breeze.
There are a few bars around, but if you feel like a walk, head right out of the hotel and go past the airbase. You take a right and go over a bridge and then right again. Follow the signs for Mad Micks; a lovely little bar on its own where you get the best beer in a frozen glass you will get all holiday, and it was only 2 Euros. Bargain! They also do a mean mixed grill and Cornish pasty, chips and beans. If you don't fancy the walk, a taxi is 6 Euros.
The hotel shop is a bit expensive, so go across the road. It's half the price, and that is for everything!
I will certainly be going back to this hotel in the future.
